Since these are not genuine, it appears they are not genuine. They came in packaging that closely matches the genuine filter packaging, but the box had previously been opened and refrigerated. In comparison to the stock filters, this filter makes a real difference. It is compatible with the Neato BotVac Connected. Three dogs and two cats have worn out the factory filters in a short period of time. Whenever I look at the cheap Neato-type one, I hate how the interior media traps debris, not which model looks like the name brand. This is the one thing I hate about my beloved machine. Taking the filter apart and cleaning it. I hate it. I hate it. Because of Neato, I am able to get the big stuff out of the way with this handy 'comb. ' There is also a brush for the rest. There may be a slight difference in how easy it is to clean out the cheaper media, but the media is less tight and it does not retain as much as the more expensive media. I use this filter in my neato vac and it works great. Please make sure you purchase genuine neato filters, as there are some that aren't. Using this product is very easy. Though they are a little harder to clean than cheap ones that aren't pleated, I feel like these trap more dirt and do a better job overall than the traditional.

Filter wise it is a great filter for filtration and fit, but compared to the standard filter that came with our Neato, this filter can get dirty after only a couple of cleans, so we have to spend some extra time cleaning it by hand. I will admit, we have dogs, but I feel the tool should handle it or warn the user, depending on what the user prefers. The standard filter is actually what I would recommend if you have pets and should be changed more frequently.

For the Neato, I find this to be a good filter. There are some differences between it and the original the original is easier to take off, and the new one is easier to clean.
