What side of the "motor safety" filter faces the bag, the white one or the gray one? Despite insisting to say the same thing, Sears, Kenmore, and Panasonic are all refusing to clarify. Are you feeling very discouraged?

The grey side is facing out and the white side is facing in because I thought the grey side, with the largest holes, would filter most of the air as it goes in, while the white side, which is like cloth and will filter finer, would catch the particles that the grey side would I might be wrong about this. When we use these on our Kenmore canister vac, they do a great job of blocking dust and odor, especially the first few times we use them. In addition, if you have pets that shed, the bag will fill pretty rapidly and the dog fur smell will begin to be detected in the exhaust, even if you already had a hepa filter installed. So while they work well, expect to change them fairly frequently. In our vacuum, however, the bags are too long despite the fact that the vacuum is literally five I think there are two or three These bags have a depth of 3" that is never utilized since they cannot extend far enough within the Kenmore models of recent years. The back of the seats sort of folds down. However, it is definitely worth purchasing and it is probably cheaper than what you will find in stores.

That's why another reviewer mentioned it needs to be cut down to fit. It was compared to the Sears brand CF-65 filter while I was shopping at my local Sears store January 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020 A total of 86883 filters are in There are no differences in size between this one and the Sears item. There is a problem with the vacuum since the filter does not have the same size as the CF-filter In the manual, there is only one part number listed. Sears didn't have an explanation for why I called their customer service line. I was told it was fine to cut the fabric In terms of quality, the re-captured filter seems to be of comparable quality to the original.

I am delighted to have I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a filter for this vacuum, since it is an older model. It's time to put an end to the smelly vacuum!.
