There is no better way to glide! It's smooth and convenient. Our family loves it so much that we are planning to purchase another one. The cons are It would be helpful if measurements were more clearly described in the instruction. If you are trying to screw it down in a cabinet, make sure the installation position is correct. As soon as the marks were made, I installed the screws using a drill but was careful not to screw them down too hard, which would cause them to strip and loosen. There is no question about the strength of the sliding action. It was very simple to install. It was a good set of instructions. Once the bracket arms are installed, the unit holds the can very well, but it does require a bit of elbow grease to install.
