Yes! It'd be better if the ceiling was low!
You certainly can, but I'm not sure if you can get it from Amazon. I returned this item and replaced it with a hardware pack that included parts for three shelves, which I used to construct the pot hanger. From Home Depot, I purchased a 36-inch pipe. Additionally, I needed to purchase the s- Although it was less expensive to buy the hooks separately, it was still less expensive to do it that way.
There is no way to change it.

If you can mount it, which is a big if, I guess it works for what it's supposed to do. It's clear that whoever designed this thing never had to secure it. It's essentially a collection of fake plumbing parts that you screw together and then mount to the wall using the round mounting brackets. There are no instructions included with the package. Because the drill will not clear the short side pieces to reach the screw, you cannot mount it to the wall assembled with any drill that will actually complete the job of drilling into a stud. However, you won't be able to put it together once it's mounted on the wall because the fit is too tight to thread the pipes together, and any threading done on one end of the final piece will unthread the other. br>br>However, if you don't mount into studs, the included drywall anchors are useless and will bend or strip out. br>br>I finally got it half-mounted, then finished it with brute force and a standard screwdriver. br>br>Do yourself a favor and buy something that isn't made this way.
The overall length is insufficient to align with the studs; it should be 32" on center so that it can be mounted directly to the wall without the use of anchors. I had to erect a piece of pine, screw it into the studs, and then mount the rack onto the pine, which was much more stable. I'm not confident in the included wall anchors. Aside from that, I'm pleased with my purchase.
Other than the top of my stove, I needed a place to store my cast iron skillets. These pans (the only ones I use) were constantly in the way because we have a small kitchen with limited cabinet space. Something hefty was required. hefty enough to support the weight of these pots and pans This was the final straw. The screws and anchors, on the other hand, were not going to cut it. Toggles bolts were purchased by my husband. They were successful in their endeavor. The anchors that came with it aren't drywall-safe. This is a favorite purchase of mine!.
I'm really happy with how the pot rack turned out. The following is a word of caution: It should be put together and then hung. I tried mounting the brackets before screwing in the rod on my first attempt, but that didn't work out, so I had to unmount it, fully assemble it, and then remount it. It was just a blunder on my part, but it could save someone else some time:.
The 31 was delivered to us. As a wedding gift, I made a 5" version, but I only used half of it. Our space was limited, as you can see from the photo. The finish is simple and elegant, with a matte black finish. The fittings are simple to put together; line up the mounting plates with a pipe wrench or some leverage. br>br>The drywall anchors they give you are only good for holding a picture in place, not for supporting weight. I bought a bag of anchors, which you can see in the photo. I used 8 because they were rated for 140. I don't expect the 40 pounds of cast iron I have to fall any time soon. To tighten the screws without damaging the rack, you'll need a 6-inch (15-cm) long drill bit. br>br>Overall, I could have built it for less money, but I think it looks good and I wish it had better drywall anchors for its intended purpose. Simply because it's simple to order, I'd recommend it to others. When mounting it, make sure you use your head. Naturally, this is true.
They are required to be in a specific position. After drilling four holes in the wall, I figured it out. Fortunately, the correct position retained one of those holes, covered two and a half of the others, and left room for the new holes. I only need to patch up half of the visible hole. Apart from that, I am very pleased with the finished product.
This item cannot be used. The mounting pieces did not face the same direction when the connections were fully tightened.
