The phlanges prevent you from completely twisting the supporting bar in. You'll have misaligned ends that won't screw into the wall if you do it this way. We wanted to hang some of our cast iron while we were remodeling. These were exactly what I was looking for, and they didn't let me down. I didn't use the screws that came with it, so I can't comment on their quality. ) They'll probably be fine; they've been fine for over a month. This item is extremely durable. I would strongly suggest it.

This is a sturdy black pipe with four mounting holes on each side that can hold your cooking pots if that's what you're looking for. Perhaps the weakest point is the hooks that come with it. If you're going to hang cookware, I'd recommend upgrading those. I wouldn't use the hooks because the pipe is strong enough for cast iron. I bought it for a different reason. It goes well with the industrial style of my home office. I use it to hang cords, earphones, and other small items; it's a nice addition to my decor. This piece, in my opinion, has a lot of versatility. I can see these being used as towel holders, handicap grips, and so on. I can think of several uses for this item in my home! I'm guessing I'll be back.

  Amazing and of excellent quality. It's ideal for making my kitchen more space-efficient. Because I have a small kitchen, this is not only functional, but also attractive. There were a lot of s hooks included in the package. Because I have large pans, I only used a few of them. Because only one side could be anchored into a wall stud due to its size, it was a little difficult to install. The wall anchors that came with the kit were used to secure the opposite side. It's been up since June and appears to be in good condition.

  Construction is excellent. br>Came with a few nicks in the paint, revealing the silver steel underneath. To fix it, I'm going to get some black paint. br>br>When fully tightened, the ends do not line up, making installation more difficult. br>br>Because the hooks were too long for the space I had, I had to shorten them to fit the hanging pans.

I had none of the issues that other reviewers had - There are no scratches because the package was well-packaged. The alignment was perfect when I screwed everything together. br>br>There was one exception, though! The four holes are nicely aligned in the photo, indicating that the rod has blocked one hole. I was only able to use three of each side's four screws, but that doesn't seem to matter.
