with a lot of extra room! This pot holder is one of my favorites. My kitchen is getting a makeover: I needed something within the 24" width that didn't appear to be prone to breaking (like some of the other wire hangers). It's made of solid wood, which was great because I had to cut one of the horizontal bars down to fit over my window framing. Because the unit is 25 inches long, it did not fit perfectly. Even so, it could be changed (which other programs couldn't). The mounting bars are anchored to a stud on one side: I used different 75-pound anchors (which I already had) for the others. Anchor with the letter Z. Since discovering these, I haven't used anything else). It's a tough machine: Three fry pans and four pots of various sizes are now in the oven. It looks fantastic in the small space allotted to it: I figure I can sand it down and paint it to match the cabinets if I decide to do so later. I'm curious where I can get more hooks, but there are eight already included, and I only have one open right now. Overall, this is precisely what I was searching for!.
The shelf is made of solid, thick wood and is supported by solid, thick steel. A cordless drill/screwdriver, a 1/4" drill bit, a tape measure, a level, a pencil, and a Philip's head screw driver bit are all necessary tools. It took about 15 minutes to finish the installation. The instructions are a little strange, but common sense will win out in the end.
Three stars is a generous rating. Yes, it works, and the design is very simple. The instructions are terrible, with no helpful information such as which drill bit to use for the drywall anchors included. By the way, the ratio is 15/64 (or 6mm). The anchors have S6 written on them (in a very small font), which is how I discovered the information, so double-check that yours do as well. I had to take a picture and zoom in because if you don't, it looks like s8. br>br>Installation turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. You'll need a good way to level a straight line because the slots are about 22 1/16 inches (56cm) apart. To ensure that my holes were level, I used a laser level. After that, you'll need to level the platform to figure out where the upper holes should be. br>br>It appears to be sturdy enough, but I'm not sure how long it'll last, and it doesn't feel like a high-quality item to me. I had hoped for a little more for $40, but I'm not returning it now that it's up and running.
My apartment is small, and my kitchen is even smaller. I also have a few stainless steel pots and pans that I use frequently. This rack has proven to be an excellent choice. I even purchased a set of replacement hooks () so that I could add lids and other kitchen utensils. It's so much easier to locate and retrieve the pan, lid, or utensil I'm looking for without having to rummage through an overflowing drawer or shelf. I also don't have to be concerned about scratching my pans by stacking them on top of each other. I made sure to mount one side on a stud because of the unit's weight and the weight of my stainless pans. On the other hand, when it came to drywall, I used extra-long nails. heavy- drywall anchors that are strong enough to hold a lot of weight. Because I needed them right away, I bought mine locally, but they're the same brand as the ones shown here:.
This rack was simple to put together and securely holds my pans. The songs with hooks are my favorites. For the benefit of anyone who may see this photo, I stained mine to make it look different from the stock color.
br>br>Overall, this is a great looking and well built product that works perfectly for my needs. br>br>However, I did measure this prior to buying and the Seth is about 9 inches, so if you think you will need to hang more than four pots/pans, I would purchase the larger size. br>br> On top of it, I keep my go-to pans and other items, as well as the kids. I prefer to hang my utensils on the front of the cabinet because it makes them easier to reach and it makes the kitchen look nice.
My previous pot rack had to be replaced recently because we are installing crown molding and the height was too high to fit in the only place in the kitchen where a pot rack could be used. This petite rack is the perfect size and color to match my existing decor. br>br>There is no assembly required; it arrives folded and all you have to do is unfold it and hang it on the wall. br>br>My only disappointment is that I had hoped for something more 'natural,' as in not sealed or stained. I had hoped to oil/stain this to match my butcher block countertop, as some previous photos from other reviews showed the wood stained a darker color. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that unless I disassemble, sand down, and refinish the wood, which will be more trouble than it's worth.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to installations, and the brackets on the wood part were a bit of a puzzle; it was difficult to mark the correct spots with a pencil because there was no way to do so due to the structure. I had to guess (and was wrong), but it turned out great once I adjusted it. Hangs my entire pot and pan collection, plus a few extras. The salts in the upper reaches are semi-concentrated. For lids, it's adequate, but not ideal.
