Yes, as long as the drywall is properly supported behind it. Because it has a 28 1/2-inch center, you'll need support behind the drywall that's 28 1/2-inch apart. in which the screws will be inserted Alternatively, you could use drywall anchors to secure your screws; they won't be as strong as wood screws, but they should suffice unless you're hanging a 15-foot chandelier. It has lost 20 pounds. MY PERSONAL OPINION ON THE MATTER.
You're going to force me to pull out my tape measure. 3/8 inch, looks sleek, I hang three cast iron skillets, a measuring spoon and cup set, and two tongs from it, occasionally a banana bunch, bet I could easily hang 20 more pounds on it, very sturdy, no flex, I hang mine under my cabinet.
These hooks are extremely simple to install. Right now, I'm having a good time with mine.
To avoid splitting the wood and make (screw) insertion easier, drill a smaller hole than the diameter of the wood screw you're using. However, you are not obligated to do so.

I am a coffee mug collector and live in an apartment with a small kitchen and limited storage. My husband always complains that only one person could possibly require so many coffee cups, but I do! I bought two of these and placed them under a cabinet above my coffee maker, giving me more cabinet space and a nice little coffee station.
It's a good product, but if you're not careful, the hook will come off with it when you remove items from the rail. I attempted, but failed, to close the small end of the hook on the rail. If they devised a rubber on the small part of the hook to better hold it onto the rail when removing stuff, I would give it more stars.
This is an excellent product for the price; I use it to keep all of my kitchen tools from melting or burning while cooking on my stove. It looks nice and is sturdy enough to hold my tools and one pan. br>br>There are only a few things I don't like about it. A few paint bubbles can be seen on the bar. I tried scratching them off with my fingernail, but it didn't work. Because it does not chip, it does not bother me. Others may have a different impression. Finally, I photographed myself for this review and discovered that I had 13 hooks! I looked for the other two (apparently it came with 15) but couldn't find them. They must have snatched two hooks from me. I don't mind if it's two, but if I'm paying for a partial product, I expect a partial price! It appears that they need to hire someone who can count to fifteen! br>br>In any case, I got a great rack for a fraction of the cost of others on the market, and I'm mostly happy with it.
I ordered two of these and installed them on a red oak plank (stained to match my cabinets) parallel to the ceiling. They appear to be of excellent quality and are the ideal height. br>br>My only (possibly unfounded) concern is that the round mounting plates at each end of the rail are about half the diameter of the picture on the Amazon page; Also, instead of the three holes shown on the Amazon page, they only have two holes for the screws.
This may appear to be a pot rack, but it's actually a great place to display your awards and medals. Strong enough to support the weight of a number of race medallions. I was able to mount it to the wall in under 5 minutes.
This was only hung today, but it's already looking great! It appears to be well-made and was simple to put together.
Hanging rail for utensils and light pans made of black steel. This black rail and hooks have a really nice look to them. They'd look fantastic in any room or kitchen appliance. The rail's powder coating is in good condition. thickness, evenness, and smoothness of application With only a light cleaning every now and then with a soft, damp cloth, it should last a long time. The 15 hooks that come with the package are quite substantial. large enough to hold a larger pot or skillet with ease. The supplied plastic wall anchors and small, short screws, on the other hand, may need to be reconsidered. I went with a 1"-wide font. I spray painted 2" round blocks of wood (found in the Millwork section at Lowe's or Home Depot) Satin Black (three coats) and secured them to the wall with better anchors (found in the Hardware Dept. at Lowe's or Home Depot). Lowe's or Home Depot are good places to start). Then I simply used longer, one-size-larger-diameter screws from Lowe's Hardware to secure the rail flanges into the round wood (rather than the ones that came with the rail). a simple solution to the rail's dubious mounting hardware If using the supplied mounting hardware, I would not hang anything other than pots and pans from this rail. I would recommend this rail and hooks to anyone in need of a hanging rail or looking for a black rail and hooks in particular.
I was looking for a rustic, heavy bar, but this was the only one I could find. I intended to use it over the stove for just my utensils, but I'm currently using it for everything in the kitchen. It can only hold one or two 10 inch light frying pans without becoming overcrowded. For a long-lasting hold, it's a good idea to screw it into studs. When a final cup is hung, that one extra ounce of weight pulls it off the wall unexpectedly, I've seen these come out of the drywall. It's almost as if hanging belts and ties in a closet is a good idea. I wouldn't hang heavy cast iron skillets from this because thin bars like this have been known to snap, and the hooks are thin and delicate, but utensils and lightweight tools are fine, and it's a look I like for now. I intend to keep looking for heavy-duty bars to hang the large pots and pans I want to display.
