It looks like it's made of metal. The shelves have been a big hit. I would purchase this item again.

We don't have much counter space and no cabinets, so this product is perfect for us. So we were looking for something to hold plates and bowls for us when we found this. It's ideal because each level can hold 6 to 8 plates. On top of that, there are four bowls. The middle shelf is a little shaky because one side of the middle level isn't attached, but it's not a big deal!.
It's attractive and functional. In reality, this is a 4 out of 5. The mesh bends down with the weight and makes a creaking sound when I put the three bowls on the top rack, earning it a five-star rating. While I don't expect it to break (at least not anytime soon), it appears that it isn't designed to hold more than a couple of bowls or a small amount of weight, just in case. But it seems to work for me.
We have a set of stoneware plates that we use for special occasions, but they've become too cumbersome and heavy to wash and store on a daily basis. Here's a look at our new Corelle bowls and plates. There was no way to fit it in the cabinet without stacking it, making it difficult to remove and reassemble. This rack is the perfect size for a 12-piece set, and it's also very sturdy. It wobbles a little, and the large plates don't fit within the frame if it's pushed against the cabinet's side. There are also some sharp edges where the mesh platform was not well finished. I'll have to break out the Dremel to sand it down. Otherwise, it performs as expected.
I bought two of these shelves and am very pleased with them. They were extremely helpful in organizing my kitchen cabinets after a remodel, and I was able to put one on each side of the cabinet and make the most efficient use of the space for my dishes. This item appears to be well-made and durable. made. The only thing I'd like to see is a slight increase in the height of the shelves. They can hold a lot of plates, but only 6 cereal bowls - With an inch or two more, the entire set of eight could fit on one shelf. Overall, this is an excellent product that has proven to be extremely beneficial.
I tried to buy three more, but they were all sold out. I bought a different brand but had to return it because it wasn't strong enough to hold my plates. When these were restocked (albeit at a higher price), I purchased three more, and I am very pleased with them.
Because they're high-profile bowls, the balance isn't perfect, but it's adequate.
This is a game changer. I LOVE IT! It's very sturdy. Just keep in mind to flip the side that isn't upside down.
My dishes are heavy, bulky, inexpensive china, and traditional corner tier racks are too light and shaky to support this weight. This rack, on the other hand, is extremely stable and does not flex or move in any way. On a 10. I have four 11" dinner plates on the bottom tier, six salad plates in the middle tier, and three salad plates on the top tier of my 5"h shelf - There are none.
