I've been using them for towels in my bathroom for about a year and haven't had any rust issues; I also use them for coats, book bags, towels, and blankets and they've held up beautifully!
It refers to how many hooks are included in the package.
I don't believe they're rated for a specific weight, but I believe they can hold coats up to ten pounds. 15 pounds, most likely. What they're anchored to is more of a concern.

All of the hooks are mounted to a board, which is then screwed into the wall. Because of how everyone else has used them and how I wanted to use them, I should have known they weren't going to be great hooks. I attempted to attach the hooks to the wall directly. They literally fell out due to the hook's weight. It's amazing how small the screws are. Unless you're super crafty and have the time and patience to buy a board, measure how you want it, cut it up (or have it cut up by a hardware store), paint or stain it (or leave it raw), install the hooks, and then drill the board to the wall (probably making sure you're attaching to studs)- Simply go out and purchase something different. These were immediately returned to me.
These worked perfectly for our mudroom renovation. It was packaged in a plastic bag with a plethora of extra screws. Because some others had issues with the screws, I predrilled holes and screwed them in by hand (my drill was too bulky to get in close enough due to the hook's design). They went up quickly and easily even with the additional step of predrilling. br>I'd say they're a lot tougher than they appear, which is great for backpacks. br>Overall, I'd give them 5 stars and would recommend them to a friend.
created and large-scale This isn't a shabby outfit. I needed strong hooks for hanging my clothes. I keep empty artist's picture frames that I've purchased in my basement. For my paintings, I'd like to refinish them. The hooks were attached to two boards, which I then mounted on my garage wall. The hooks are well-made, and the hook is long enough to hold both large and small frames with ease. The frames are up and out of the way but still easily accessible, which is a great solution. I'm usually wary of low-cost imports, but these are excellent, thorough, and generous. I am a 68-year-old DIY grandmother who had no trouble attaching the hooks to the boards with the screws.
I really like these hooks. They were exactly what I was looking for in order to create a "rustic" coat hanger!.
We're pleased with how well they've held up and find them to be quite sturdy. They are, however, a pain to install, particularly if you use a drill to secure them. The bottom hook's angle causes you to screw in the bottom screw crookedly, which can cause problems even with a manual screwdriver; the screws are very quick to strip if the angle is off even a little, so we lost one or two screws to stripping due to the bottom hook's bad angle. Regardless, they work great now that they're in place, and we're very pleased with them.
It's designed to transport a significant amount of weight. As a result, direct installation on a wooden board is the best application. br>br>The bronze screws are useless. Not only did they strip, but one out of every four of them had their heads snapped. I got up and went to the hardware store and bought regular steel screws, which solved the problem. Without drill bit extenders, they're also difficult to get in. br>br>However, they have a nice appearance and should be reasonably durable!.
They're extremely durable, simple to install, and perfectly match the look I'm going for in my log cabin AirBnB. We had to make a mud room where there wasn't one before. Added some boot trays below and hung these on the wall. They're big enough to fit multiple coats, scarves, or a book bag in them. I'll probably put some in the bathroom, near the shower, as well. They're simple to put together and come with plenty of screws. If you want to go for this look, I highly recommend them.
I bought these for a small vacation rental condo so that guests could hang their wet towels in the bedroom because there isn't enough space in the bathroom for everyone. The condo is decorated in a rustic cabin theme. I used screws to secure a 1 x 2 to the wall, then hid the screws with these hooks. The black does not flake or peel. They're strong enough to support the weight of a backpack. I was able to make one for each bedroom for $1 each, instead of $5 each. They're stunning, and they're the ideal fit for our cramped quarters. The guests used the hooks not only for wet towels, but also for their personal belongings, as shown in this photo.
