How far can these hooks be projected? I'm hanging a lantern with a round base, so I'll need a hook that extends at least two feet. 3 inches. ?

Are these 3" wide at the widest point or 3" wide at the widest point? 5”?

Each is 3 inches wide at its widest point. Mine is in front of the door. It started out as a jacket and backpack for our granddaughter. Our "lovely" face masks are now kept in them as well. They're very nice, and I like them a lot.

Can they be used to hang pool towels outside? Is it possible that they will corrode?

It's very nice, with a rustic finish, but I wouldn't recommend it for outside. It will, however, rust in time.

How much weight can the hook support if it is properly secured?

It's lovely, but it's not as sturdy as I had hoped

It's fine to stick them into wood, but what about drywall? Nope. It was wobbly as hell even though I did everything correctly with the anchors. I took it out to adjust it and dropped it. I assumed it would be fine because it was metal, but dropping it two feet in my bathroom snapped the hook off. Also wobbly is the other hook. The blue paint rubbed off on my walls as I hung them up. I expected to enjoy these a lot more than I actually do.

Screws aren't painted, so they're not visible

These have a great look to them and go well with my decor. The shipment arrived on time. My only criticism is that the screws that came with them are a shiny new silver that contrasts with the antique blue hook. They stick out like a sore thumb, so I'll have to go out and get some paint to cover them up. As a result, they have lost their cost-effectiveness.
