Questions & Answers
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our products. A total of 30 pounds can be supported by the rack.
I can't give you an exact answer because the wall rack is in another house. I believe the hooks are approximately 3 1/2 to 4 inches apart, and I hope this information is helpful.
Center of hole to center of hole, the screwholes are 19 1/4" apart.
If you have a color rack that is light or dark, use it. Prime and paint the surface. If the rack is dark, I would apply two coats of primer. wishing to reduce their weight.

The shelf itself appears to be in good condition. It was a great deal, and with all the work that goes into putting it up, we're pretty much stuck with it now. My husband is a creature of habit, and if he can't hang his coat by the door, he'll be "off" for the rest of the day. br>br>3 things that are wrongbr>1. The drill bit size required for the drywall anchors is not specified in the instructions. I suppose this could be done by eyeballing it, but the first time I did it, I guessed too small (thankfully) and had to correct it. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The drywall anchors are extremely weak. I was able to correct them both by being a little more cautious as they approached the wall. If you're serious about this shelf, you might as well use your own anchors and screws. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The holes in the back of the shelf are slightly out of alignment! I measured the holes with a 24" level and a 19" level. 25" apart, and I've drilled and screwed everything in, but the shelf is crooked! I managed to pull it off and used the level once more to make sure it wasn't my fault. br>br>With the way we plan to use the shelf, the lean isn't noticeable. We're not going to put anything on it that will draw attention to the lean, but I'll always notice it, which is unfortunate.
It was exactly what I needed for our guest bathroom. The large black metal hooks, distressed white wood, and overall size of this appeal to me. My only gripe is with the way it was installed. We hagas to make sure we had screws to fit the openings because this didn't come with any screws, anchors, or anything. We didn't, as fate would have it. We ended up simply drilling a small hole in the back metal opening to accommodate the screws we had on hand. It would be nice if it came with the screws and anchors so we wouldn't have to try every single screw we have. Apart from that, I adore it!.
Love it. Rustic, elegant, and durable. It was split into two beams when I finished. I couldn't get this off my wall, even if macho man savage tried.
The product arrived looking exactly as it did in the photo. It has a rustic appearance and feel to it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because one of the six hooks only had one screw installed instead of the four required. The fix was simple: I simply used three small screws I had on hand to fully secure the loose hook. The three missing screws were never installed and did not fall out. Aside from that, it's a lovely coat and hat rack.
Very appealing and a good match for our house. For a solid mounting, you'll need 16-inch studs. Although drywall anchors are included, I would not recommend using them. Also, make sure to measure the distance between the mounts, as ours weren't exactly 16 inches apart, and the screws must be installed precisely for it to work.
In our guest bathroom, we recently replaced some builder-grade items with more fun and unique items. I was tired of the standard towel rack when I came across this adorable coat rack. It served as the ideal substitute! It's thick and sturdy, and it's exactly what I was looking for in terms of personality. Thank you, Amazon, for providing us with yet another gem!.
This rack is one of my favorites. Because you must measure the holes on the back, it is not the easiest to install. It does, however, appear to be attractive. However, because of the way the brackets are mounted on the back, I wouldn't use it to support a lot of weight. It would be more stable if it were directly screwed into the wall. It's more of a decorative piece than anything else. In my home's breakfast nook, I have a hanging basket.
These have a great look to them. I was concerned about the installation and how I would keep them in place since the screw did not go into a stud directly. I only got one stud because the screw location isn't ideal when the studs are 16 inches apart, but I'm hoping it'll do the job and not fall apart once I start hanging jackets. So far, I'm happy with my purchase, and I'll keep them because they're already finished.
