To make some cheap but awesome hangers by our front door, I used a couple pieces of wood from a free pallet and screwed these hooks in. I like the look, and the hooks appear to be sturdy and long-lasting. This purchase has made me very happy!.
The product I received is approximately 2050% of the height described (are under 2" tall). Most coats and the majority of items you'd want to hang from a wall are too small for them. They resemble a cup hook in size. I'm thinking of using them in my workshop to hang small items.
These hooks have a sophisticated look to them. If you're going to make a coat rack like I did, I'd use a stronger screw than the ones provided. However, this is an excellent product that I would purchase again.
The hooks were of excellent quality, and they were simple to install in the wood. I pre- Drilled holes and then used a screwdriver to install the screws.
I'm not sure how these can be called "heavy duty" because they feel so light. Just a tad more plastic than you're used to. A sheared off review was also what prompted me to write a negative review. It wasn't because of the screws or because the weight was too much. The interior of the hook's holes had actually fallen out (see second photo). So I had to go out and find some larger headed screws to fix the problem, which wasn't difficult but was inconvenient. However, I suppose you get what you pay for when it comes to the price.
We hung these on our fence to keep the pool towels in order while they dried.
The hooks themselves are fine, but there are no drywall anchors included, only these tiny 1/2" screws. I put these up, and they started falling off after a week. To make it work, you'll need to purchase drywall anchors, which is a pain! They should be aware of what should be included in the shipment in order for these to be mounted.
This is fantastic! I needed hooks that were not attached to a spacer bar so that I could choose my own spacing for our jacket and hat wall. The number ten appears to be the ideal number. The hooks are sturdy, and each of the three points has a long screw. Although you'll need a level, I did it by hand in our kitchen wall without using a drill. Anchors, in my opinion, are entirely up to you. It all depends on what you want to do with them. I've never seen a better hook for the price, and everything is included, so I'd recommend them.
