As this item is half the price of anything comparable sold at a big box store, I expected a flimsy and difficult to assemble item. I cannot agree with either of these statements. This is a solid effort, as others have already said. There is quality in the chrome finish. The result is actually quite good. I didn't care about the looks because this will be hidden away in the storage area, but it was a pleasant surprise to find it here. It was easy to assemble. I was impressed with the engineering thought put into making it. There are labels on the posts so I can determine which one is on the bottom and which one is on It was easy to connect the bottom (female) and top (male) ends, as it has threaded ends. No cross threading was apparent. couplings that hold the shelves in place are exceedingly easy to put on but what makes them genius is the fact that sliding in the shelves secures the couplings in place firmly. After you wrap it up, you will see what I mean. I love this shelf so much! This bedside table is very sturdy but not too heavy to use in a bedroom due to the chrome finish. In addition to this, I also have a clothing rack that I love and it works beautifully with it. It can support a lot of heavy objects, can be taken apart and reassembled easily (which I have already done-- Second time around it's just as easy), and it's shiny and pretty enough to decorate the bedroom with. As this shelf is the perfect size, I keep thinking of getting some fabric storage bins to hold these old clothes, since it's very easy to find all kinds of containers that fit on this shelf. I have kept tools, jewelry making supplies, many blankets, yarn and fabric bins, and all my pants, pjs and towels (of which I have a lot. shelf is perfect for storing items not in use - Clothing, blankets, extra blankets, etc. Do not let the top be the same stuff as the bottom. You can either store bins there or cover with fabric if you are uncomfortable with the top being the same. There's never been a catch on the wire mesh - I put it next to a delicate sweater, tights, many many balls of yarn, etc. It is so beautiful and shiny in chrome, and looks just as good as when I first bought it! As you can see from the photos, the workshop has bins full of fabric, clothing, blankets, etc. with more on the way. The second photo shows the scale of what it currently has. I think that quilt in the background is for a king size bed, and it's about 4 feet Despite its lightweight, it is very easy to assemble, can hold just about anything and shipped very quickly. A second one is likely to be on the way. In addition, this is the garment rack that I purchased to go with the rack.

There is a lot of value here, and the price is very reasonable. My main reason for choosing this rack was that I wanted a non-metal rack I chose this rack because of its standard size and because it was inexpensive. It went together very easily and fit into the space perfectly. Although I did receive what I paid for, I have to say everything was as described. This wire shelving unit has the thinnest wire I've ever seen in one of my shelving units. There isn't a lot of stuff I need to load into this unit, but I suspect it can't hold as much weight as my other ones. Therefore, you have to make the trade-off. It is a versatile light duty wire rack that can be used for a variety of purposes. Getting a sturdy rack is crucial if you intend to use it to store heavy items or to store food.

BestOffice/Calvalier sent me six more of these for the garage because they were so nice. These are a little more convenient than the similar HoneyDo shelf because there are markings every 6 or so support grooves in the poles which speeds up assembly by making it easier to space the shelves correctly without having to count or measure. There are a few minor things to mention, such as the fact that the flooring pads come already in place on the BestOffice unit, and the pole joiners are only threaded half-way instead of continuously, which provides a much more secure way to join the two pieces. As a person who has struggled with modular shelving sets for over a decade, this is by far the best assembly I've found. Unfortunately, it was damaged when it arrived. My second one arrived with two (2) damaged shelves. I love it, but I'm sorry to say that the fault is with the manufacturer. I kind of feel sad about that.
