If you choose the RIGHT SIZE and it says 20 feet, then YES, it is 20 feet. I've purchased both 20 and 24 inch lengths, and they're both accurate in length. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS CHOOSE THE SIZE WHEN CHOOSING THE COLOR. The problem is that not all sizes and colors are available in every color. So, after selecting a size, people select a color they like, and the size changes on them because the color they want is no longer available in that color. If not, you'll have to decide whether you want size over color or color over size. For the most part, I just come back and see what's on sale in the 20 by 24 foot rolls. I just cut a 24 foot roll into four six-foot pieces for first-time camping to keep slick sleeping bags and mats from sliding around on slick nylon tent floors. it was a success Two of those six are now hidden beneath two 6-foot double-sided coiled throw runners on the middle stair landing. Because the rugs are slightly larger than 20 inches, the oval ends were simply trimmed to fit perfectly. Kittens no longer ride them all over the landing, which they used to enjoy, but we're getting too old to not trip on them now and then. We also don't move the rugs around. And, for some strange reason, this stuff outperforms similar nonskid rug pads. When the family began to complain, I was six rolls into it. These have ZERO ability to stay in a drawer or on a shelf in terms of functionality. It doesn't stick to anything, so it just bunches up and slides out when the drawer is opened. Adjustment and re-adjustment are a constant source of frustration. adjust - We're not talking about small tweaks here! When you open a drawer, it will slide four inches back, and when you close it, everything will be in a clump at the front. It's a complete waste of money, and it's a product that wasn't properly engineered. We contacted the company, and one of their "solutions to this common problem" is to put these in the dryer to warm them up before putting them away in the drawer. There isn't any difference. So it's "Spray it with an adhesive. " I would have bought something else if I wanted to ruin my fine maple drawers and cabinets with gunk. I went out and bought Non- It was supposed to stay in place, so it was made to be sticky. I was able to return nine rolls (thank you, Amazon), but I still have six chopped up in various pieces. What a squander of resources, both time and money.

I'd return it for a refund, but it's already been cut up into pieces for drawers and cabinets! Make sure you don't repeat the same error. This is NOT a non-skid item, as other reviewers have stated. It does not adhere to the surface. It fulfills my requirements for certain shelves, such as long-term storage. Kitchenware that can be stored for a long time, but not items that need to be retrieved on a regular basis. I'm attempting to use double-spaced text at the moment. Tape some of it down to see if it will hold it in place. It does not appear to be a good situation. I'll do my best to work with it while remaining cautious. The lining is very easy to cut through.
