The number 200 is not listed on the boxes or on the Fellowes (manufacturer) website. The 32 edge crush test ratings or the b bursting test. A "basic duty box" is defined as one that can handle up to 30 pounds and has a 32ect (Edge Crush Test) rating. A 200-pound box is known as a "Medium Duty Box" because it can hold 40 pounds. Because it's described as "medium duty," it's most likely a 200-pound box.
I'm in the process of moving from one location to another and can't seem to locate my tape measure. However, I've gone through about a dozen boxes. The overall length would be 2, but I believe you're talking about 15. A 5 file would be a good fit.
As strong as the majority of single-ply cardboard boxes. If you pack them full and tape the top to the bottom, they will last longer.

There is a designated area with lines that make labeling easy to find and read from a distance of more than a few feet. They also have easy-to-reach handles on both ends, making transportation much easier. We were storing books, files, and office supplies in them. We moved them to storage, where they are stacked several boxes high, once they were filled. Even though they were stacked with heavy books, they remained intact and sturdy. I would strongly advise anyone looking for high-quality, low-cost storage to consider these boxes.
I misunderstood the term "20 pack" to mean "20 complete boxes with lids. " I have ten boxes and ten lids to go through. Very deceiving. I'm not going to buy any more of these. Please accept my apologies! br>br> I was completely mistaken. There are twenty lidded boxes. They're all piled on top of one another! Yea! They've grown on me now!.
In the last few months, I've moved twice: first to a rental while my condo was being renovated, and then back to my renovated condo. I discovered that the ideal box for the items I was moving myself (i. e. , rather than having them transported to storage and then to their final destination), was one that was small enough to avoid overcrowding. It was filling and easy to transport. Bankers boxes appeared to be a good choice. However, there are numerous brands and significant differences in the ease with which they fold, lock, and allow for easy transport. br>br>I bought several batches of bankers boxes over the course of the two moves. I kept getting a different manufacturer each time. This brand outperforms the competition, in my opinion. Both the box and its lid, as stated in the description, are extremely simple to fold from their flat state to a box. Because of the way the lid folds, it locks securely in place, providing a secure lid and a comfortable grip. They are extremely durable and can support a significant amount of weight. Of course, because they're all the same size, they stack together perfectly. The lid also serves as a nice writing surface for the contents or number of the box. br>br>I like these so much that I'm going to keep a few for future use. (BTW, if you're keeping cardboard boxes like I am, wrap them in plastic before storing them. ) Corrugated cardboard, as far as I'm aware, attracts insects. ).
When I first opened the box, I thought I'd been sent the wrong item - Someone figured out a way to make it with less cardboard while keeping the same size, and it's super simple to put together - Simply pull the two opposing corners together, then fold the inner flap down for the bottom. I felt ridiculous - I was about to return them when I realized what had happened. When folded, they appear to be about the size of a shoebox.
When it comes to moving and storing files, Bankers boxes are simply the best. This particular model was not quite what I had in mind. The files are attached to the sides of the box, which is directly inside the lid, in this model. The hanging folders' width causes the lid to bulge in an unsatisfactory manner. In bankers boxes, the next level up has dropped sides for the hanging files and a slightly higher level of sturdiness. These are fine for a single move or use, but the heavier boxes from Bankers are recommended for longer storage.
br>On the box, there are no assembly instructions. There are finger holes in the tops for no apparent reason (they don't even match the finger holes in the sides of the boxes). Even figuring out how to open the shipping box took about 20 minutes. The heft of the cardboard used to make this product is the one positive review I have for this manufacturer; however, the tabs do not fit firmly/snugly into the side/bottom of the product, and the quality is less than satisfactory after paying top dollar for it.
These are fantastic boxes that come ready to use in no time, with minimal assembly required for the boxes and standard assembly required for the lids. When you're finished with them, they're also simple to disassemble and lay flat. The lid tabs curl into the handles of the boxes, locking the lids in place and adding extra stability when carrying them. They stack perfectly with flat sides, which is ideal for filing, but that feature is also useful for general storage. It isn't visible at all. It goes through like a tote, but totes have angled walls, so it's ideal for transporting cameras and small vintage items for my shops.
These are fantastic boxes. The design is ingenious, and they practically put themselves together. I'm moving and switching to this box saved me a ton of time (I was used to those similar Staples boxes that required so much huffing and puffing and the pushing of various cardboard panels). Anyway, I went with the medium weight option, which is extremely durable and ideal for my needs. BUT. not related to the product: While the first delivery (a large box of unassembled boxes) was satisfactory, USPS delivered the box the second time I ordered these boxes. I took a photo because I couldn't believe it when I realized I was only about two feet from the curb at the base of my driveway, rather than the front porch like the first time. You should be ashamed of yourself, USPS.
