I'm not familiar with silkscreening, but I don't think this material would work. When wet, it rips easily and falls apart. I use it as packing material by wrapping/rolling my items in sheets of the material and then filling the box with wadded-up sheets.
The finish isn't shiny. I'd say it's somewhere in the middle of printer paper and newspaper. It's not as thin as newspaper, but it's also not as thick or firm as printer paper. I was satisfied with it for all of my packing, which included some framed art, and I hope this information is useful.
It has a thicker consistency than newspaper. br>I packed quilts in it -
Yes - It does not contain any acids.

This is a thicker version of standard newsprint paper. If you loosely wrap your fragile items in it, it works fantastically well. The crinkled/wadded up paper acts as a durable agent, suspending your valuables inside your box in a sea of paper. It will only work if you use it liberally. I've moved several times and have always relied on this product, which can be recycled or reused.
(It weighed 9 pounds when it was delivered to me. ) I'd think that if they're selling shipping supplies, they'd send what they say is the weight in the title, which is 20 pounds. The actual weight is 19 pounds, according to the product information section. The listing should read 18 lbs, not 5 lbs. I was given 9 pounds of paper, which is exactly what I received. This listing is inaccurate and needs to be FIXED based on the title.
The paper is nice and thick, and it is very clean. To wrap smaller items, I cut pieces in half with scissors. It performs admirably, is odorless, and is easy to use. While packing, it is free and lays flat. I can't tell if there are 325 sheets or not because I can't count. The weight is 17 kilograms. 8 pounds per digital scale so I could potentially be getting on 89% of what is being advertised br>br>The 4 stars instead of 5 are due to the low weight.
At my antique/vintage shop, I use plain newsprint to wrap purchases. I cut handfuls of sheets in half to make 18" x 24" sheets because a full sheet was too large. I discovered that local shops selling "dunnage" (leftover, unused newsprint) were bundling sheets smaller than 24 x 36 inches over a year ago. Despite the fact that they advertised the larger size, the sheets eventually shrank to the point where they were too small to wrap a lot of my merchandise without cutting. I found paper online, but it was bundles of varying finishes of paper that were often scuffed on the ends, dirty, or otherwise unsuitable. THEN THIS PAPER CAME ACROSS MY MIND. So far, everything I've bought has met my expectations in terms of size, weight, finish, and quality. It's something I'll buy on a regular basis.
I wish these paper sheets were 1 inch shorter on each side because the pull-out tray is a little smaller. However, folding them in half an inch is simple. br>br>For my smaller birds (sun conure and small caique), I use two sheets at a time, while for my larger bird (XL caique with massive poos), I use three sheets at a time. To make cleaning easier, I placed them on the cage's floor. br>br>I also wish there was a way to have a huge tissue-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper-paper box- I'd like a wall-mounted dispenser, for example. That would be fantastic! The most difficult part is storing all of the paper.
I've been using this paper to ship purchases to customers for about a year and love how it protects and keeps the items from rolling around in the boxes. Because I am a small online seller with a fairly consistent business, one order of this size lasts about a year for me. Depending on the item's size, I cut the sheets in half and fourths. br>br>I also use the sheets as a backdrop for photographs of my shop's merchandise. This color is a fantastic neutral. br>br>When this box is finished, I will order again!.
Wherever you buy boxes, you'll pay twice as much for this packing paper. For our move, I needed every single page. The only disadvantage is that it is difficult to tear in half when only needing a portion of a sheet because it is so sturdy.
With online orders, there is a lot of packaging! br>As a shipper, I prefer to use paper instead of styrofoam peanuts or plastic bubble wrap. These paper sheets can be used as packing material in a variety of ways. It prevents the movement of goods. I use it in a variety of situations. Shock absorbers, wrapping jars scrunched up in between items to prevent shifting, and everything else in the master container box. br>Paper that cannot be treated (hopefully made from recycled paper- not sure- but my best choice for environmentally friendly packaging available for packing all types of products, regardless of size. br>My clients can reuse, burn in a fireplace, or recycle it because it breaks down in the landfill. br>Light weight and takes up little space in my workshop.
