Questions & Answers
This is a great question, thanks! As far as watering times per refill are concerned, you seem to prefer longer watering times. The choice is really quite simple in this case. As long as I have been working at Santas Secret for twenty years, both work well. 1) Purchase additional Santas Secret Gifts and place them all in the same tree stand. They will all share equally in the tree when they are run in parallel at the same time. You do NOT want to overfill your tree stand. Siphon Principle at work As all containers run level to each other, they will even out to each Therefore, as the water in the multiple Gift Waterers is depleted, so too will the water in the tree stand bowl. 2) Set your watering device to run in Unlimited Mode. Rather than placing on a jug, place on a larger container of your choice. It may be any length or width, but it may not be taller than 6" so your tree stands reservoir does not overflow. Put it on display or hide it according to your preference. This would allow you to have virtually unlimited watering during the season. Don't fill more than You can also see the educational video about configuring Unlimited Mode here An in-bit. The water secret is off for the holiday season at do/watersecret. We are so happy that you are trying out our waterers and that you are helping us to make them even better with your feedback! Thank you so much, Kelly W. Kindly, Kelly W. A gallon jug can be secured to it using the cap that comes with it. My opinion is that it should be airtight.
It is possible that those tiny bubbles will accumulate and stop the otherwise very reliable gravity feed that this waterer makes use of. It's better to drink bottled water rather than tap water. The problem can be solved by simply squeezing the pump a few times if bubbles appear. in some areas of the country it is best to avoid drinking tap water due to entrained air in it. The water comes out of solution as milky white when entrained water is withdrawn from the tap. The pressure is released, the water warms, and air comes out of solution appearing like milk. Allow the water to sit for up to an hour or until all the air has been dissipated...then you should be able The bubbles are not unique to this particular waterer, but can also occur with any gravity-fed waterer if the user is not aware of them. Thank you for asking such a great question!
In a word, yes. Fill up the bucket with water and set up the hose so you can draw from it, and you're good to go (assuming your tree doesn't use more than the bucket holds).

During harvest season, filling the water jug higher than the level of the water reservoir in the tree stand usually means the water will spill over when it reaches the top of the reservoir. I think the tree would need to be on a pedestal for this not to happen. In my case, this is what happened. My time will be reconsidered if someone can tell me why this cannot be the case, but at the moment I cannot see how it is.
I was looking for a device that would make it easy for me to water my Christmas tree - this did the trick. It was easier to use a funnel before, but I had to be careful not to overfill the base and to know when it needed to be filled. My problem was solved with the Santa's secret tool that is simple and easy to use, however. When the jug gets low on water, you don't need to crawl under the tree to see if there is enough water in it. If you want to do this, you can simply pop off the lid, fill the jug in the sink and substitute a lid. This is a great product!.
It was watered. got tired of kneeling down and bending over to reach under tree branches every day to add water to our Christmas tree stand. As a result, I decided to search online for a tree waterer and found this cute little helper. I could hardly wait for it to arrive, and once it did, I was Those who read the instructions will know exactly how to operate it properly, so they will not make a mistake. The water level in your tree stand and the water level in your milk jug will match once the siphon is working properly and the water level has stabilized. You will not be disappointed if you keep an eye on the milk jug every few days and fill it as necessary. This is a great product! It's really nice to receive a gift bag disguised as a gift. The one secret gift was in fact a tree waterer, nobody knew it was a secret gift!.
I no longer fend for myself and fenagle the water jug and/or funnel under the tree on a daily basis. It is probably possible to make this at home with some items from a hardware store, but it was much easier to order it up and save trips all over town searching for the necessary pieces. This end is equipped with a brass rod that makes it easy to place in the tree stand and keeps it in place after it's been set up. With the newly designed watering can, you can now water the tree standing upright and at a distance of a foot or two from the tree and make sure the water level stays steady. Moreover, you will be eternally grateful that I recommended this stand and the Krinner Tree Genie tree stand!.
According to the instructions, I followed them exactly, and it worked perfectly. It took more than 10 pumps to get the air out, and I thought it was broken at first, but then around 20-some pumps cleared the line. After 25 pumps, the air was out and it worked perfectly. Do NOT fill your tree stand from the top with a full jug before you turn the pump on. It says not to do so in the instructions. There will be an It took about one and a half hours to get it. We didn't use it for the first five weeks following our tree, since the tree ate up a lot of water over that period. I've been using it for two weeks now, and I've been pleased with it. Due to its lack of a jug and the fact that we don't buy jugged milk, we had to purchase a cheap 2-liter jug of I am a fan of hers.
My initial skepticism arose from having used a similar product, but I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the design and the effectiveness of the During the course of two weeks, my tree gulped down about 2 gallons of water. As soon as I filled my supplied 1 gallon milk jug I squeezed the pump about 10 times to get the water flowing and then each time I added water to the jug. A fresh cut off the bottom of the tree must be made before inserting into the water because the pumping value was a guess on my part. Make sure you have a fresh cut off the bottom of the tree before placing it My tree was purchased from Costco, 7 ft A tree for $33 that measures 8 feet tall I have $00!.
My cast iron xmas tree stand is cute, but it doesn't hold enough water and is challenging to fill all the way up. It's a siphon system to keep it full, and I have tried to rig my own system, but I was not successful with the components that I had at hand. I then came across this product, which is exactly what I was looking for. The majority of the negative reviews I've read were written by people who did not understand what it was. After a couple of days of organizing my jug levels I was able to see that the empty and full levels on my stand matched all the levels within the jug. I now have that information for the future. It seems that the tree I have this year is very much a If you fill a gallon milk jug one time, you will have just enough for one quart of water per There are only about four Between my stand being empty or full, 5 vertical inches of the jug fall in between those two ranges. 1) I would like to extend the time between fills, but I will need to find a container that is wide so it holds more water within the restricted It's nice to have an additional decorative bag. It blocks the view of the level of water in the jug, however. It was just not on this year. For a refill, you need to remove the jug from the bag. When using the bag, you'll need to remove the jug from it. As of right now, I haven't found an appropriate solution to that problem. The box could be decorative, with an opening on one.
I bought a second one for my family that complained about the difficulty of One of the nice things about this system as opposed to other tree watering systems is that you fill the jug and then turn it upside down into a stand, which means that you will still have to fill it. The one you are looking for is not There is no need to place it under the tree in the gift bag nobody will know. Despite my lack of a keg, I'm still doing mine in a pitcher! This is a highly recommended book.
