How fresh your tree is will determine how much you pay As soon as I put up our tree, I filled the 2 liter bottle so it wouldn't run dry, but it drank the water down so fast that I had to refill it again during the night Sunday and now In general, the frequency of the rain will decrease as the season progresses, but after a couple of weeks it will still happen every three days In addition, if the level drops so low that the cut end of the tree dries out, it is no longer going to drink unless you re-seed it You can cut an inch off, but who wants to take everything off of the tree just to do
Please take note of these extra points To force water to go through the hose, I lift up the base and tilt it for 10 seconds while I put a full bottle in. There are times when air bubbles swirl in the tube and prevent it from flowing. Additionally, I added a weight to the end of the hose inside the tree stand (1/4-oz. It contains 20 nuts). There have been a few times when I have had to replace the hose (VINYL aquarium air hose) due to blockage/mold. You should inspect the hose every year to make sure it is not blocked. Whenever you can, try to avoid heavy packages on the hose or cover it with PVC to prevent cats from chewing A few years ago I got a unit that was over 15 years old &amp a couple of other things. I still have no problems with it.

As it should, this works just fine. As if gravity wasn't enough, there are also the forces of attraction. Although I do have one issue with it. Putting the bottle down into the stand causes it to overflow out of the sides each time you do it. Once you invert the bottle, water starts to pour out into the basin, and you cannot fit the bottle down into the stand without causing a mess every time. It is easiest to keep this from happening if you wait until the waterer is completely empty before picking it up and placing the bottle into it while holding the waterer inverted. Flip them over together when they are assembled. As part of the instructions, you are supposed to cover the opening with two fingers and drop your hand in. This may work for me if I look down the street at a five-year-old with tiny hands, but not.
If I could have received the green waterer in the picture, I would have been thrilled. The mine does not have a green hue. This bright red item stands out in a crowd. An image posted by a customer shows what it is like. Since no one else appears to have received the bright red brick, it can't be a universal problem. This one I got has a pattern. The chimney like design is supposed to look like that. It would have been much easier to "hide" a green one next to the tree if it were green. I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Despite my swivel stand (it does have to be elevated on top of a box), it works just fine. You might get one that is bright red.
But I strongly suggest keeping whatever you used with your Christmas supplies as well. The floor must be 3" off the ground for my stand. Thus, I have used pieces of 2x6 blocks screwed together in a red and green color scheme. Ensure that the hose is taped or fastened to the stand so that animals or visitors cannot pull it out accidentally.
Waterer has been hooked up for 2 days now, and I'm very pleased with how it performs. Ideally, it would increase the height of the water level in my tree pan, but the amount that is in there is sufficient for the tree, which seems just fine. I have the waterer in an out of the way corner and the hose is easily concealed by the tree skirt. I am extremely happy with this purchase and consider it to be totally worth the money.
Just make sure you get the right elevation on your tree stand. In short, this is a simple, yet useful and solid product, which serves a great need for those who travel at times during the Christmas season, or forget to water their trees for days on end. This is great if you simply do not want to periodically get down on your knees and water a tree by hand. A dry tree is not a pleasant sight when one comes home from work. This product was designed to solve the problem of needles falling from the plants, and reduce the fire danger. It's not just ugly, it causes a mess of dropped needles, and could be a fire hazard. I like it because it is easy to set up and use, but you MUST test it and make sure it works before you leave it to water your plants on your behalf. As far as mine went, it never really worked on the floor. Changing how high your tree stand is will depend largely on the type of stand you have. Experiment with the different elevations (I just put mine on a stool or small box), and use what you find most comfortable. It's important not to have it too high, or it will spill inside and cause If it is too low, the ball will not run toward the stand as it should. However, there is a range of heights that can work, so do not worry about how precise it has to be. Find the middle ground and monitor it for a while until you are sure it works. It holds a liter of soda). Even though the height is a little fussier than I would like, and if you do it wrong, you will have to pay a price, it still remains a good product and should suit your needs.
It was very easy to follow instructions and I got the bubble so I knew how to lower it. We then returned to our dry stand with the tree. In my tradition, I like to keep my tree up until 1/5 of the month but I was unable to do so this year.
Although we are very pleased with the results of this product, we took it to storage after the first Christmas season with the tube attached. It happened that the plastic nipple on the bottom was broken off of the tube. Despite our efforts, we were unable to glue it back. As a result I would suggest choosing one that looks more durable if you can find it.
The reviews in other reviews were so glowing that I was disappointed. Could it be that we made a mistake?.
