This mat is made from trees

However, as soon as we opened the box, the item smelled like dead fish. It seems like this mat would be perfect under the tree stand. It has a fishy smell. I do not want my house to smell like that, so I am returning this.

Floor protectors do a great job protecting floors

There is a small tear in the center of the mat, however, it arrived the day before our tree, so I did not have time to request a replacement, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

The smell of chemicals is very strong

As soon as I opened the package, chemical odors filled the air. This has been left outside for several days since it started to smell. I don't see anything wrong with it.
