I was very pleased with it. A lot of the nicer artificial trees come with metal stands which seem to be more durable than plastic stands. A short time after the cat's knocked the tree down and broke a leg, we took it down again. Having a tree so large did not bother me, so I searched for a stand with a different approach. I was just a little skeptical that my medium sized cats would be able to stand up to it. As soon as I got it, I set it up and loved how heavy-duty it was, but still thought that the cats would tip over the tree if they leaped We tested the stand over the course of the I've included one of the pictures where it is evident that some branches have been flattened out because the cats sat in the middle of them. There were no signs of damage, but the tree stood tall. Even so, the tree did not move when my cat leaped on it while I was sitting right there. The Angry Orange spray and my stand will allow me to decorate my tree safely and it'll stay that way for years to come.
I bought this to replace the flimsy stand which came with the 7' artificial lighted tree I purchased. Despite its size, it is very strong. This is a great product. Currently, the tree has a lifetime warranty, and I am absolutely sure that it will beat all trees in the future. The price is well worth it.
Before and after pictures can be seen here. This crap stand (before) came with our otherwise nice tree buckled and failed after a third season, so I guess it wasn't built to last. A goliath's stand (after) is a business that is almost certainly over-based on a poor business plan My tree can grow up to 8 feet tall - built for most trees 4 to 8 feet high That is exactly what I needed. It is my firm belief that this tree will last at least as long as our current one. Having gathered all those ornaments, I will go pick them up. I hope you have a safe and happy holiday season.
As an alternative to the flimsy, unstable base that came with my Target We had to put up our original tree in the basement (away from the cats) because the base broke, so I had to literally tie the top of it to a hook in the ceiling two years ago. Our Christmas tree was almost untouched that year, and we were sad about that - I was then told to get a Goliath by my mother. The fact that I was able to put my tree up in my living room last year instead of the basement was such a huge relief, knowing the tree would not topple on its own (or with my two cats' aid). so simple to install that I didn't have to ask for help, which is a big deal to me. The grip is heavy duty and it gripped the tree with an iron grip. Last year, thanks to this tree stand, we were able to enjoy our Christmas tree. The name Goliath is very apt for this stand. This is the kind of book I'd recommend.
No more turning Your legs just need to be laid down and you're ready to go. It is very easy to store the summer table for next year you just have to turn up the legs. Rock-solid is the word that best describes this stand. For storage, it will fit in a small area.
Just buy it. A Goliath Tree Stand) is worth the price, but it's also worth not having to deal with chintzy tin that could cause your tree to buckle or fall over. The stand is made from sturdy, welded steel, has tons of screws, so you can keep your artificial tree level, and can hold trees up to 1 1/4 inches If you use it with the artificial tree you usually use, it will last much longer, so it's worth paying double the price you do for the awful I like the fact that it is made in the USA (though I wish it were cheaper!).
There's no cat in here! The best tree stand in the world can be found here. My kitten has a spaz of a temper and I was surprised that she would not topple Therefore, I was on the hunt for a better stand. I chose this particular stand after reading another review that said it is cat proof! The weight and solidity of this object is impressive. This is not going to be knocked down by her. Mate Cinder, check this out! While this does not mean if you have cats that your tree will be protected from cat attacks, it will at least not.
In the wake of acquiring several cheap and Having spent decades struggling with weak Christmas tree bases, I finally found a durable, high-quality case that will be able to There were no good methods to hold up a 9ft tree straight without it The screws were just a strip of thin metal attached to three screws. With 8 around to hold the tree solid and strengthened in thicker metal, these are the best ones I have found. Yes, straight forward! There is a lot of strength and stability in the legs. You don't need to spend your time and money on other cheap ones that need to be replaced after a few.
