The actual score of my essay would be I would give it 5 stars if I could get half a star. There are a few issues I have with the stand This is 1. Despite the limited quality and durability of the bolts used to attach the legs, they are not a strong enough product. It will be replaced once I take the tree down after Christmas. 1. 2. There are nuts on the ends of the bolts that screw into the tree to hold it in place if you have to move it again. My goal is to weld those onto next season's skis. The bowl of the stand in which the tree stands is dotted with spikes that will poke into the bottom of the tree's base. It would be better with a single spike that you could insert in the bottom of the tree before putting it up, this way the tree stand could be inserted before it was put Getting the tree straight would also be aided by this. 4* Each a. It would also be nice if the legs of the stand were As a result, I had to use sandbags with the standing stand to prevent it from tipping over. 15 ft. x 16 ft. There's a lot of weight in that tree! In no way am I trying to make this out to be a bad stand. It is something I intend to use It would be nice if I were able to buy one when it gets to the $300 range, and maybe in a few years I will. Although there are a few minor adjustments that could be made, I think this stand is best in class for trees from 12 to 16 feet tall, at an excellent.
This stand is incredibly sturdy and holds my massive 14 foot tree with over eight inch base just fine so far. The fact that I could attach the legs after putting the tree up made it a no-brainer. I had broken three stands before I purchased this one and this one did the trick perfectly.
I had my first real tree for the first time ever. In order to get a 14 to 15 foot tree, my husband wanted the biggest tree stand I could find. We ended up with a 14 to 15 foot tree and it worked perfectly. It was very stable and could handle dogs bumping into it with no problems. It had legs that were long enough to make it durable but not so long that you would trip It was a little hard to bolt the legs in from under the tree because there was no easy access to them. As per the directions, we left two of the branches off until the tree was upright. It was easy to get the bolts in the legs, but it was not so easy to line them up under the legs!.
The quality of the product is poor. A large tree will definitely fit in the stand and it is heavy and sturdy. Despite the large water reservoir, without lots of hammering and extra tools we were not able to get one of the legs into place as the stand looked like it was dropped from above at the factory. Considering that the box and everything else around it was in good condition, this could not have been a packaging issue.
It seems like we always get very large Christmas trees, roughly 12 to 14 feet high. There have been several tree stands that we have tried over the years, all of which needed extra support to keep the tree upright. On our first day of using this stand, it was obvious that it was incapable of holding up the tree without any assistance. As a result, it is the first tree stand that left me feeling one hundred percent confident our tree would remain upright when I arrived home after As long as it has the capability to handle our massive trees every year, I am confident that it will work just fine for you.
The stand is not designed for a huge tree and is just not strong enough to handle the task at hand. As opposed to a cone, the tree bottom has two spikes, so drilling a hole in the center of it will not stabilize the tree. With a 16-foot lopsided tree, the entire stump was enough to cause the tree to sway just from its position. The stand works, but it is not safe for holding a fully decorated tree that is huge.
I like it. The tree stand has come in handy. The fact that I can put on two legs, top it up, and have my wife steady it before putting on the other two legs is awesome. are going to use this trick, I suggest you whack the spike into the trunk with a rubber mallet in order to seat it in the trunk. As part of this repair, I also changed the eye bolts that tighten to the trunk with regular bolts so I could run a cordless drill through them. The product is of excellent quality. I am extremely pleased with it.
It is not nine inches wide. It is seven inches wide. It's 5 inches wide. What the hell?.
