It does not seem to make sense for it not to. We used it with an untrimmed 6' tree and it worked just fine. In my experience, even when a tree is trimmed, it still works but sometimes hesitates or hangs up, but keeps rotating nevertheless.

The free market. This tree stand comes with a plastic insert/adapter inside the base, no doubt intended to hold smaller trees on narrower poles, but I was able to place my 7 feet tree right on top of it. There is a tree in the stand. The stand is very quiet. It rotates both ways. Although you cannot choose what direction to go in, this can be somewhat controlled. When you switch it on, it randomly switches from one to the other. and again, this may not be a big problem for most people, but I needed it to always go in the same direction when creating a carousel tree. The clockwise direction should be followed. As long as it goes in a "good" direction once I turn it on, it only takes a few turns to get back to its original position after it turns off and back on a few times. This is nothing more than a minor inconvenience. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is that, while my tree fits snugly in the base with no worries about it toppling over (and my trees are heavy! Despite that, I do not think the tree is dangerous, but it's something to keep in mind. This is an incredibly high-quality stand that I would highly recommend - I am absolutely thrilled with Having fun in the process!.
The base of the tree allows it to lean over significantly, just like many others here. Regardless of what we tried, the stands are of poor design and are not well fitted. My intent is to return the item. This is what I mean by saying, "user error. ". The bottom holder of the rod was not installed all the way down. I'm happy with how it works.
A rotating tree has been a part of my life for over 20 years. There is no better product on the market. The rotating base of my rotating tree went out on December 21st. It didn't occur to me that I could purchase another rotating base. I've had it for over 20 years. The one I found on Amazon was delivered to me in time for My original one is similar to this one, and it works the same way. In any case, I have the rotating base so I don't have to buy a new tree next year. As long as my original one lasted, I hope this one will last as long as well. As a married woman with a family, I have never been able to go back to a tree without rotation after the rotating tree was my first tree.
In a nutshell, I find this to be very useful. A little play is present in the bushing that rotates. It is possible for the tree to wobble every now and then. This is an easy fix to stop.
I'm not talking about a quiet click, I'm talking about a loud one. It is very annoying, but it is much better than on the left when the tree starts to spin. When on the left, you'll notice that it catches and release with enough force to knock the tree off balance once every rotation. There are moments when it just wobbles a bit for a while, and other times when it appears to be falling There is nothing wrong with the tree we are using since it is in conformity with the specified specifications. Unlike other trees that have a tendency to turn when the root system is not turning, the tree stands straight up when the root system is not spinning. In addition, the worst thing about the whole situation is that the tree has already been decorated, so I am stuck with it, and we aren't going to take it down to return it.
The past 15 years have seen me go through about three rotating tree stands. There seems to be a limit to how long they last regardless of the price. With the stand, the cord has multiple outlets. It has been quiet for the first few days in use, but we'll see how that plays out given that I had a stand that sold on Amazon for over $200 start to sound like it was grinding coffee beans after two weeks of use. We weigh less than 50 pounds per tree, so although this stand won't show issue until third season, I will expect to have problems by that time. Over the past three seasons, I have never encountered a rotating stand that ran quietly. This stand is different from others in that there are a few features you won't find on others if you have never used a rotating stand. thing to do is turn off the rotation with the switch. You might not believe it, but there are some "heavy duty" stands that do not It has a switch that allows you to light the tree and decorate it without having to chase down bare spots like on a conveyor belt. The second feature is a multiple outlet cable that allows you to plug in three different items at once. It appears to be a stand worth trying. The countdown to Christmas is about one month away. I'm curious to see how long this This is an update on the review. A tragic accident happened when a tree began swaying and wobbling to such an extent that it affected safety. Upon returning home, only a few days had passed.
I had to return this unit because it was jerking and leaning. It was my second purchase of a revolving stand (my first purchase was from another place and a different brand). I was excited to open my purchase, because it seemed much more durable than I expected. My husband had to pound on the pole holder to hold the adapter pole in place? It went together pretty easily, except for the adapter pole holder. Despite only being one trunk, it is still very big. The pipe should have been slipped in as it measures 25 diameter. It seems like this is to keep it more secure, but I thought it was to keep it more secure. Despite the fact that the picture shows that she is all the way down in the holder, it is still fully intact. As soon as I started putting ornaments on, the table began leaning. This ornament is made up of small, light weight crystals (and a little plastic). That should help keep it from being In addition, you can see the tree is a pencil tree. The weight is extremely light! It is with great sadness that I give up the idea of a revolving stand. I love how the ornaments are displayed in this way.
It appears that the tree wobbled in the stand as it rotated in certain reviews. As the pole of the tree was a bit smaller than the opening on the stand, I placed a couple of wedges between the pole and the stand. I love the way it works.
