Honestly, I have no idea how to answer this question. Your tree may need more water on the first day you get it. You might have to refill the EverGreen Helper several times the first day since the capillary action will help it draw up water. With age, the tree builds up fewer and fewer ability to draw water up from the ground. Similarly, if it is allowed to dry at the base, it will lose its ability to draw up water. Generally speaking, if the tree has been in your home for a few days already, you are probably okay (just make sure you piggyback two units). If you're going to be away for four days with a new tree, you must be very careful. It is important to note that some newly cut trees were cut in September and aren't as thirsty as one you cut yourself this weekend on your own. There was no way I anticipated such a complex system of watering. Similar to siphoning, it is a simple process. There is no doubt that it works. This thing lets me go four or five days without having to water my tree, even though it doesn't drink much water. Even though it appears to be a little expensive for what it is, it works well. I do not have to crawl under the tree because it makes it easier. There were several feet between it and the tree trunk, and the tree was completely away from it.
The water just needed to be added every other day when it was near a tree. It is much easier than climbing under the tree to fill the tree holder with water. Water dropped on all presents, but was not allowed to drip and spill under the tree due to dryness.
Thanksgiving was the perfect time to decorate this tree. I was able to show you how amazing it is. The needles have fallen a little bit, but they are still attached firmly on January 12. We may have a good tree, so maybe this is going to work. Regardless, we are happy with the product and plan to use it for a long time to come!.
We are so grateful for this. The tree is up at least once during the holidays and in the past we have returned to find a tree that will not take any more water and will dry out I had to figure out a few things since the tree was already up and decorated, but it worked out in the end.
