I'm not sure if I bought it for a 7-foot If the bottom pole diameter is bigger than the base, it might not fit. Measuring the diameter of the bottom pole could ensure this. You could return the stand if it turned out to be broken or too small if it didn't stand up to your demands.

Trees in our yard range in height from 11 to 20 feet. This does not seem to be too big of a deal. I know, but it's true. The hat was made to order, so it is a bit heavy as well. As a first time user, we had it together in the attic for a year. However, we soon realized that was not the most practical way to store it since each piece is so heavy and two flights of stairs with all of them is a challenge. In order to go with each of the three pieces of furniture, we purchased three kinds of bases. I used this base to build my tree's base in second from the bottom (the biggest besides the bottom that's just in the trunk of a tree). There was a time when I couldn't find one large enough to support the heavy pole that it was made from, but now I have one that does the trick. Very sturdy and well made! In addition to being easy to fold, this awning is also easy to store throughout the year.
The year before, when I found out our 12 foot artificial tree stand was either not delivered or discarded, I was so pissed. There were no stands in SoCal that would fit my truck, so I drove all over the region looking for one. With this very expensive brand, I got locking teeth which are great for real trees, but not so great for artificial trees with spikes all over the place. We ended up with scratches on our flooring as a result. When we got our artificial tree for the 2020 season, I went to Amazon to find the right stand. The last season, we decided to keep the artificial tree in place.
