What is the maximum weight capacity of this device?

I'm not sure what it is, but it appears to be well-made. I'm 7 feet tall. It's adjustable, so I'm confident it can support a larger tree as well.

What is the height of the tree-in-place section?

Approximately 5" in length. Depending on the type of tree you have, it comes with a variety of shims. If your home or apartment has standard 80" tall doors, the tree will need to be tilted to fit under them. br>I also bought a Vermont canvas zip-up cover for the tree. There wasn't a single decoration that I took away. This configuration is ideal.

What is the material used to make the wheels - Are they made of hard plastic or polyurethane (like skateboard wheels)?

The wheels are made of hard plastic, similar to those found on an office chair or a kitchen cart.br>I'm not sure why this matters, but they roll smoothly. I had no problems with my hardwood floors.

It was fairly simple to assemble; I would recommend using a hammer to attach the wheels because I lacked the strength to do so; otherwise, follow the instructions and you should be fine. I'm very excited to be able to put up my 6 1/2 foot tree this year, which is brand new this year and which I purchased from Qvc; hopefully, I can see it here; it appears to be quite good; and I'm looking forward to being able to roll it into my office, place a.

The clamp on the mounting post broke

One of the three clamp tabs snapped off while mounting the tree trunk to the stand, making the tree post unstable and causing it to slide around in the holder.
