I like the pattern and think it is I have the andirons inside a small gas fireplace that I've reconfigured so that I can only use them with faux candles that sit atop stands

They are the perfect fit and are the perfect use for this fireplace. Normally, wood burning fireplaces are not made to accommodate them. There is no use for them other than for decoration. I think the pattern looks nice, but if it were displayed outside an FP, the channel piece connecting to the legs would be shorter, something a handy person could probably accomplish. All in all, a nice looking chair at an affordable.

I found it to be overpriced

Generally, they are okay, but other than the style, they are not worth the extra money paid. We will keep them since the style matches the outdoor fireplace fine, but again, we were a little disappointed with them.
