The logs are held in place by braces on the floor. How high are the braces?

In order to have three inches of space between the brace and the floor, the brace is put 3" from the ground. There is a 1" gap between the brace itself and the floor, so the distance top to bottom is 4".

A better fireplace grate than a traditional one! This is such a great idea! My husband and I both adore it! used to have "traditional" fire grates in the past, but they always warped and that cost us a lot of money Once the grate has been used a few times, it will break between the bars

In our household, we build at least five fires per week and use the fireplace constantly, so this has held up well. This has not bent or warped, and the decorative leaves have remained the same as when we purchased the item a few Split logs as well as full size logs have been used and have been equally durable. This shape of the bars seems to hold the logs in such a way that the fire gets the correct ratio of air to fuel and for the air to burn efficiently. As well as producing a decent fire, it must also be able to produce heat. This is definitely something I would recommend to my friends & family I have actually brought it up with my family and have told them how well it has worked.

The old andirons sagged so we are replacing them. Since they have a center post, they are less likely to sag, so we believe they will last longer. In a seated position) For fireplaces, there are frequently sold arrangements of pieces.

There are many types of garbage packaging

Would be zero stars if it were possible! They looked at my ass and repackaged it! This is the worst packaging I've ever seen the item is heavy and it was only wrapped in a plastic bag and double wall corrugated fiberboard. Sad stuff. The glass broke but I was not surprised.

You can be assured that these work well. I like the way they look and how solid they are. Fire is the most important attribute when it comes to starting and keeping fire the way the early settlers did (the right way).
