I think the coastal fireplace is just what we envisioned for the South Florida summers! The logs are terrific. We got 2 boxes and one box had bigger logs than the other. Our intention is not to burn them, but to use them in the fireplace when it is not in use.
Two stars were taken off for the color, since the color was the most important factor for me when purchasing. There was no mention of pink in the reviews and some other logs were described that way as well. The pink color of the flowers is not a coincidence. There is a lot of pink and brown/green than white. I received 5 logs of roughly the same size and there is just enough peeling to the timber. Despite the pink color, I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been the color. I think color is as important, if not more than all the rest factors combined. Prior to this, I had a few pure white logs from a tree I'd cut myself, but are trying to replace them from a move. I don't think this color is as nice. Since they are too difficult to return and the shipping cost would be too high, I am not returning them.
