There are 6 logs in total in both of these sets that I purchased. About this much space is taken up by each log.

It appears that the logs are gray in the picture, but they are orange. They are shown in a very misleading way in the picture. This is the first time I've heard that birch trees have orange bark. Surely Birch is not a gray and white species?
Logs are peeling terribly out of the box. There were peelings on the bottom of the cardboard box they came in as well. This is a total mess that needs to be cleaned To get a closer look at them, you'll need to vacuum the mess after taking out the shipping boxes. There is no way I'm going to display the logs in my fireplace, so I'll have to find another use for them. In a fireplace, I do not particularly think orange logs are very attractive.
After I received my logs, I was so excited, but to my disappointment when I opened the box I found that some of the logs were rotten/molded and there were tiny insects all over the box. As soon as I found the box, I put it in It is NOT acceptable for them to live in my house. As a result of my refund request, I now have to wait for the company to contact It does not make sense to me why anyone with reasonable sense would choose and pack up rotten logs for shipping to customers. As part of my holiday decor, I displayed these logs as part of the winter season. I noticed that the ends of the logs were heavily molded when I opened the box to get the logs out. It is far better to purchase white birch logs on Etsy rather than imitation wood logs.
