Do you have a fire pit in which you can use it?

I use them all the time in my fire pit, because there is no smoke to block your vision, no smell, and they give off plenty of heat. The fire doesn't need tending for a few hours, so you don't need to keep it going.

The substance passes no toxins into the food (ie no toxins released by it)?

There is no reason why they cannot be used for cooking. Cooking over them has been an extremely common experience for us. In most cases, we let the paper burn off as we go and then we're all set.

A great way to start a fire

The material does not burn for very long. They're for burning brush piles, so I bought them. Large brush piles can be ignited quickly with these and they burn hot enough to ignite quickly. I think they'd be great for starting other kinds of Firewood or pellets wouldn't be a better replacement since they don't burn long.

The smell of chemicals is not present

Does not smell chemical at all. HAPPY NEW YEAR. The flame is of good quality and readily lights. It lasts for about three.

It burns for a long time

I had some trouble lighting it, but it did last several hours once it got started. I like it for a fire bit since it has a nice constant flame and there is no significant residue to clean.

Summer is a tough time to find these. These fire logs are great. It was wonderful to find these on Amazon, as you cannot find them in the south in early spring or late During the spring months, the fire pit is a great place to enjoy a fire.
