It will take a few years, depending on how you store them. Every year or so, I'd double-check to make sure.
The matches are manufactured in India, but the company is headquartered in the United States.

These emergency match boxes come in a paper box, which isn't waterproof, but they wrapped the matches in plastic and even included extra striker pieces for my old UCO containers just to be safe. As a result, replacing these matches is very affordable. Just a quick note on these games: They're emergency matches that aren't affected by water. If you're going to light one, make sure it's a really good one You're not going to suffocate it. You'll have to completely engulf it in order for it to go out under running water. I had a few old matches that I wanted to see if they were still good after all these years. I didn't want to let it completely burn in my kitchen sink, so it was a bit of a Mythbusters moment. It took a long time to get it out under running water, lol. Another point to consider: A long stroke across the striker paper will quickly deteriorate your striker paper. One of these matches can be lit with a quick, solid, deliberate strike across the paper, sideways. The wax (or whatever coating) will simply ruin the surface where it is struck, so striking the paper in a smaller area will extend the life of the paper.
out bag. Under difficult circumstances, this is an excellent product. Take the striker sheet with you when you go to the games. When they come into contact with other surfaces, they do not light.
I soaked a match in water for a few minutes, padded it dry, and struck the stricker surface with it, and it lit. You won't be able to blow it out with your breath or even a strong breeze. When I dipped it in sand, mud, and dirt before lighting it, it stayed lit. The burn time is accurate and consistent, making these excellent matches to keep on hand. The Titans burn in the same way as these, but they're bigger and last longer. I also have a couple of boxes of them.
Despite this, the matches were a huge success. When striking them, we quickly learned to strike them close to the tip, but not so close that we would burn ourselves. It was also windy, but these were still all lit! Indeed, this is a fantastic product.
The wood is flimsy. You can't even light it before it breaks.
According to the advertisement.
These matches do exactly what they say they're going to do. They do, in fact, stay lit for about 15 seconds, and while the flame goes out when submerged, the match itself remains lit and re-ignites when removed from the water. Although I'm sure that particular scenario will never arise, the chances of being caught in a situation involving heavy rain, flooding, or other similar events are high. Make this a useful function. Also, because they are nearly impossible to blow out, high winds should not be an issue when using them. This kit also includes two extra strikers, which I didn't use because I didn't need them, but they're a nice little extra to have in my kit. Also, the matches aren't at all flimsy. Unlike most matches, they are thicker and less likely to break. Overall, a good product that is worthwhile for anyone, whether or not they keep an emergency kit. It's impossible to predict when they'll be useful.
