We got these at a discount from Amazon because a previous customer had rejected them and returned them unused. I would not have bought these at full price if it hadn't been for the deep discount. I will report that they are a good premade log that burns tall flames for what they are. These logs don't produce a lot of heat, especially if they're burned outside in the elements in an open fire pit. a fire pit with multiple sides However, we purchased for the sheer convenience of transporting to and from the campsite, as well as to ensure that we had something to burn if no wood options were available once we arrived at the campsite, either through the camp hosts, a local store, or forest restrictions surrounding the campsite itself. These are good logs to bring if you're going to tote press logs as a backup for a camp fire. They're easy to light and keep burning for a long time!.
There's no chemical odor like there is with "regular" duraflame. They make me very happy. During rainy weather, use it frequently.
In three minutes, you can have a nice fireplace fire. I cut them in half, lit a fire in the fireplace, covered it with regular split wood, and sat back and enjoyed a perfect fire for the next two hours. This warms the cabin quickly until the furnace kicks in, which takes about three hours.
Much better price on Amazon, and it's delivered, which is a big help because this six-log box is quite heavy for me.
In fact, it burns brighter than a standard Duraflame log that lasts 6 to 3 hours. They do, however, last the same amount of time. The standard six-and-a-half-hour log takes two to three hours to complete. These 1 - 2 1/2 hours 1 hour and 30 minutes.
We frequently use Duraflames, but this box/batch has been a major issue; the logs barely burn, with a candle-sized flame. We started one in the morning and it's still going at dinner time; normally, this would be great, but the flame isn't very good, and there's no way to put it out, so we can't leave the house. I'd break it up, but we won't be able to do so because we don't have a poker table where we're staying. It's not a big deal; it's just a heads-up to the seller and manufacturer. So far, every log in this box has caused issues.
They have a great burn! It's a lovely fire that lasts about 3 hours, as the box claims. When compared to another brand sold at Home Depot, which burned primarily on the ends for a while before eventually becoming more balanced, the Duraflame produces a quick and beautiful fire.
The very best. Articles will be delivered to the front door, which will be covered. Awesome. Thank you very much for your help.
