The picture makes it appear that the cases make it easy to attach the carabiner to a belt loop or back pack, but nope, for some reason they designed the loop on the case with a slot in it, which allows the carabiner to be pulled off with very little force. The diameter of the hole in the loop is too small for the carabiner provided, even if the loop did not have the slot. Instead of cutting a slot in them, they should make them with a solid loop. They'd have a winner if they made the hole large enough for the carabiner. I'd change my rating if I could, but for the time being, I'm returning them for a refund.
For campfires, these are a must-have item. br>I was known as the "fire guy" because of how frequently I used these. br>Had a great fire going last night, woke up to burnt ashes and a few lumps of black wood on the ground, so I got some kindling and threw some air at it, and it took off like a rocket. It concentrates the air precisely where it is needed. When blowing into a bed of coals, however, exercise extreme caution because the end of the tube can become extremely hot! I burned my finger tips pretty badly when I tried to compact the tube when I wasn't expecting it! So give it a minute to cool. That was a lesson I learned the hard way. Any backpack or camping supply box should include these.
A more secure way to start a fire. The drawback is the carabiner attached to the cap on the clear carrier tube, which prevents you from getting too close to the small smolder or flame while trying to start a fire in the fireplace or campfire. The carrier tube is easily detached, and the bellow is lost. To avoid losing the bellow, simply store it in a backpack or drawer.
Also, your cap brim/nose/eyebrows and bangs will never be singed again while trying to light a fire. Now, you can sit comfortably on a tree stump or stool and get a fire going, which is a big plus in my opinion. Wherever I go, I always have one of these in my kit.
Unfortunately, I'll have to spend more money on razors now that I'm not burning off my beard hair from blowing too close to the fire, but my brows are growing back nicely.
There are only two of these available. For the price, it's not a good deal, and the title is misleading. '4 pieces,' it says. "2 pack" should be used instead. " Due to the fact that there are only two bellows in total. As a result, this is not a good deal. When I bought it, I was in a hurry. Now that I've done some research, I've discovered that there are far better deals available that provide you with up to 8. I was under the impression that this was a four-bellows deal. Now I see how I was duped into making such a hasty purchase.
I've wanted one of these for a long time but had no idea they were available until now! I purchased extras to give as gifts.
The prize was too good to pass up - 2 for $7! My son won one, and we've used it to rekindle a fireplace fire or start a fire in the fire pit on several occasions. I'm so glad I went with my gut and bought these!.
