You can use this variable speed control to control the speed of any fan.

A total of seven cables are connected. It has a length of 9 inches, so it can be cut and peeled. The D-shaped stem is 1/4 inch long.

The small desk fan works perfectly with this

With a small 110VAC desk fan and this VICOOL hySC001N variable rheostat, I created a desk fan control. Desk fans are electric fans typically found in vents, which can be purchased at WalMart for a reasonable price -- just like the vent fans in bathroom ventilators. This is a cheap and noisy option. Thanks to the rheostat, I can now reduce the RPM of the motor very low, and the fan makes only a very small wind noise, and the papers do not fly off my desk now. It worked well. I did have to manipulate some wires, but if you know some electric circuit theory, it should be evident to you how to proceed. you look closely at the photo attached to this review, you will notice that my small fan has a Rheostat attached to the back.

The product is defective right out of the box

It does not matter what polarity or what dial position the dial is in, the resistance is infinite. The vendor will receive it.

I have had good experiences with the product thus to power the blower on a heat-pump There was a problem with the fireplace insert as it came with only two male connectors and the blower requires both male and female connectors. My connector broke, so I had to buy a new one.
