Questions & Answers

This is a model kbnh-55 switch I need to replace What are the chances that this switch will work with 13bv?

The solution may not work in your application. I cannot predict whether it will work for you. In summary, this replacement for my old one didn't last more than 3 weeks before it quit working completely. It would turn on and off, it didn't have a variable speed, and it would turn on but soon turn off again. Is it possible that the part is defective?

What if my ceiling fan is connected to an external capacitor? Will this work with it?

It may or may not

It seems to hum at lower speeds, so can I use this with a standard table fan?

The line switch can be wired the same way as a wall Although the fan speed line switch may make your fan hum less, it probably won't affect the noise level.

Is it possible to use this switch in Spain at ?

A trustworthy company! Our wood stove now has a variable speed control, so we ordered it, got it right away, installed it (no problems), and are very pleased with it
5/5

As part of the stove, this house already had a power cord with a speed control unit as a part. The stove had been designed in such a way that it could be operated from a designated area. E. was the cause of the problem. It broke off as the result of me falling on it Upon searching for a replacement I found that this was the exact same part! It was easy to install, so we were able to get your knob ever breaks, but there is still a part of the shaft exposed, you can use a small file to slot it and run it with a small screwdriver in order to replace it! I am McGuire!.

Perfect replacement for the blower control on my Baker wood stove
5/5

An object that fell on top of the blower rheostat on my Baker Heat King wood stove (10 years old) broke it. On calling the local store that I purchased the stove from, the salesman told me he could not sell me "just the controller" and that a new blower / control unit would cost $145. replacement controller on the Internet. With a little bit of ingenuity and $10 I spent at Lowes for a box/cover, I now have a brand new, fully functional controller for my top-of-the-line machine. The installation process is simple. I think the only con was the packaging in which it was shipped. The bubble envelope had been mistreated by UPS, and the controller had poked his way out of it. In the future, it might be best to ship in a box.

The new controller is superb
5/5

We used this when we replaced a wall - I put this new fan controller in place of an old one attached to an old fireplace insert. I simply took out the old one and put this Even so, it wasn't that easy to fit it into the old gang box, but I am sure that was partly due to my own incompetence. As soon as I plugged it in, it worked seamlessly Since the fan speed can be adjusted infinitely, and I can detach the "on" detent to keep the fan from accidentally running, the fan speed can be set just the way I want it. Because warmth has nothing to do with this unit, I did not show any stars for it. I have found my application to be fairly straightforward.

In the end, it was exactly what we wanted
5/5

With this dimmer/speed control, I can control the airflow on my fireplace insert blower perfectly. I just replaced the control on my Jotul Rockland C550 with this one, and it should fit in any hole for a similar control of a similar size. There are only two wires, so it is difficult to make a wrong connection. There is a direct connection between the hot leg and the fan, while the neutral leg connects directly to it. Easily adjusts the fan's speed from zero to 100 percent. You can use this speed control if what you need is one for a wood stove or insert fan.

As shown in Empire OEM part R4186 and I used this to replace the rheostat for the fan speed control (part number R4186 or 18879) in an Empire DVP36FP33P-based computer A gas fireplace with three burners
5/5

The rheostat now looks and functions like the one that came in the fireplace including the little "key" that goes in the tiny hole next to the shaft to prevent it from rotating when you turn the knob. Besides the knob and the wire ends being bare, the only differences are the knobs and wire ends. To terminate the bare wires, I used fully insulated female and male spade quick disconnect terminals. With one of these, I plugged directly into the plug where Empire used the mating plug. In order to create the unique AC power cord connector, I cut a lead off the old rheostat and crimped a spade quick disconnect onto it, forming an adapter cable that didn't require any extra wiring or connector changes.

That's all I needed to get my fireplace blower going again
5/5

At the time we purchased the house, the blower was not working. When we looked over the old switch, we discovered that it This item arrived in several days after I ordered it. The device is very easy to install and use although it does not fit tightly in place, it moves around a lot more than I would like, but it works and is in a place where it cannot.

The Blaze King Sirocco 25 Insert is a perfect replacement for the Blaze King Sirocco 25 Insert
5/5

It is exactly the same size, but it has a silver face instead of the It is more pleasing to me to have a black knob, so I removed it from the old rheostat and it fits perfectly here. There were brand new connectors that I had to connect to the existing wires, but you can find a package for $4 at any auto parts store.

Fireplace fans are controlled by a speed control
5/5

The speed control is located on my fireplace which acts as a control for four The only buttons on it were high and super high. My old speed control was inefficient, so I replaced it with a 3 amp speed control, which Due to the fan motors having a two-speed control, I put the speed control on the super-high setting now that I'm able to set any speed I wish.
