In my experience, it does not compare to the other model I have and I have tried it on both my pellet stove and my wood stove. The high surface of my pellet stove, on the other hand, is inaccessible, whereas the top of my wood stove would burn me. You can have the blower move this thing if your pellet stove is cranking, but not at nearly the same speed. Also, most pellet stoves have blowers, which makes this purchase pointless.

Once I put both fans on the stove at once, they started both spinning at the same time, but I was unable to test air speed or temperature difference because the fan from the second seller stopped rotating. In their description, it says that overheating may cause the motors to fail. I couldn't get it to start again, so I found out the motors might not last long. As the seller recommended on the product description page, I plan to buy a replacement motor from a hobby shop. Although this fan worked all night, it did not fail to perform. Since I did not have one previously, I was thrilled to get a free stove thermometer with the item. As the fan moves air, it is virtually silent, to the point that the fire was louder inside the stove with the door shut It's because the fans work off the heat energy coming out of the stove that I purchased them. It is not necessary to operate the fan with electricity, so you can harness more energy and increase the efficiency of the room's heating. There's no reason for you to be scared of the fan. You will not be cooled off by it. If you took the time to read this post, then you will know this product will not knock papers off your desk when it can circulate air around the room. It is very quiet and does help circulate air in the room. I strongly recommend this item.
There is a spinning motion. You can't get much more than that. It was a complete waste of money. As a matter of fact, I believe that this company overstated the capabilities of the AIR THAT IS HOT WILL NOT BE MOVED. Currently it only has one function, and it is not able to perform the I can move more hot air after a bowl of chili on my wife's lungs!.
It clearly states that there is a two year warranty on the title, but the paperwork states only one This has disappointed me greatly. When it came to deciding which fan to buy, this was a major consideration. As most others only come with 1 year warranty, the 2 year warranty didn't do much to make me change my mind. is good but does not work as expected.
The first thing to notice is that these items are In spite of this, it does seem to be warming up the area in the direction in which we are pointing. As a wood stove, it's not inconspicuous, but I didn't think it could make a difference. I use our large, certified wood stove 24 hours a day. In the winter months, we typically use our electric heat pump only occasionally, so we're sensitive to temperature differences in the main part of the house we spend most of our time in. The living room is large (18' x 50' - "L") with rectangular shapes. The room is a large square (ish) as opposed to being a big square with a The little fan is pointed east in the direction it's pointed and a little more than midway to the west end of the room. There is a strong temperature difference between the direction it's pointed and the same distance as it is toward the east. There is no sound and there is no movement of air when your hand is more than a foot away from it. Because of this, I'm baffled about how it works. In the meantime, we are contemplating another one to point in the other direction, but we may try a different brand/design because there are so many to choose from. There are a few interesting things about this and if it keeps spinning over time, the money would be worth it. I find it fun to talk about.
The purchase I made was a good one. The fan I bought will be placed on top of my Norwegian wood stove which has a rough surface made of cast iron. I was concerned whether or not the surface contact will be efficient enough to transfer This fan pumps air efficiently when it is turned on and starts almost three minutes after the stove has been fired up. The hot air is circulated well. A highly recommended book.
I bought it to replace another (larger) fire place fan and am happy with it overall. I was impressed by the size of this device, the spin rate of the blades, and the fact that there is a magnetic thermometer on the unit that can be placed on your wood burning stove pipe. This unit created two times more air movement than my previous model with taller Despite the fact that they spin faster and are silent, the reason I'm removing a star is because they cause strange air displacement. Warm air would be expected to blow towards its direction if the fan was facing directly, but instead most of the air is dispensed to the side. The following is a "match flame & minute" video I made In order to confirm what I was feeling in my hand, I did a "smoke test. ". When you hold a lit match before the fan, it dances a little, but when placed directly above or to the side, it blows the match out almost instantly. In the smoke that resulted from the match, it appears that the smoke was being blown to the side away from the fan, rather than forward in the direction in which the fan My first thought was this may have been a “one-shot” The case had been "off" but I purchased two of them and it came out the same way. I wouldn't know why they didn't change them. Even though it has worked almost nonstop for months now, and it makes a noticeable difference in how much heat it can disperse, I still gave it 4 stars. You will be disappointed if you expect a warm stream of air to come from the fan when you aim it at yourself.
As it was, the two of them made a minimal difference to our performance. Let me state this clearly, I am happy I bought them, but they don't really make a big I got two to put atop either side of the woodstove to disperse heat since I had a new sun room built just off the living room with sliding glass doors that open to the room and only about 8 feet away from where the woodstove is located inside. Thanks to the small tower heater I have in one corner of the sunroom, the fans only add a small amount to the room. Nevertheless, at least this is a start. The fans are completely silent when they are operating, but they start running all by themselves as soon as they get warm While the blade is spinning, you can simply stop it by touching hurt and there won't be any air flow if you place your hand in front of the fan, but of course there can't be no air flow with a spinning fan. Do what the instructions say in terms of how it works, but don't expect any.
In a nutshell With this fan I am providing direct venting for an Empire propane As it rests on vents, I am able to breathe. Because the fan was not intended to be placed on vents, I took a chance with it, but it turns out to be really effective. The fan included with the heater was cheaper and quieter than the one with the heater. The fact that I do not require any electricity is great.
