Our family runs a coal stove in the winter months to heat the house. This year was their first winter in their house, and we noticed that the room with the coal stove was quite hot, while the adjoining rooms were much colder as we could not get air flow to the rest of the house from the room with the stove. Our only source of ventilation last season was a box fan we set in the doorways of the rooms. There were a few issues with the box fan, one of which was its loudness and bulkiness. Our two young children, as well as our cat and dog, were constantly knocking it down. It was important for me to come up with a new solution this year that was quieter and could be put up where it wouldn't be noticed. I found the AC Infinity fans to be exactly what I needed. It was easy to mount the fans on the top corners of the door frames and they are very quiet Furthermore, they do a good job of moving the hotter air, since we have noticed a marked difference in temperature in the other rooms of the house compared to last year, and our furnace that heats the rest of the house hasn't had to work as hard! -Efficient operation without disturbing others - A screwdriver is all you need for installation! I. - The fan control is smooth and easy to use Air flow can be fine-tuned with no step-by-step controls - Materials that are of high quality - Injury prevention is made easier with fan guards. There are no Cons except that the fan bearings are very good. There is more wiring length than I need for my application, however, since it is not a kit for a network cabinet, I can ignore it. Providing an appropriate length screw was either too long, or not long enough. It would have been great if the screws were 2mm longer

Overall They didn't disappoint as this set of AC Infinity fans brightened I installed the fan kit in a jiffy, and thanks to its easy installation and wiring, I had no problem getting lots of air into my cabinet. The speed dial lets me tweak the airflow to my liking, and I was quite satisfied A wall could be anything You will greatly benefit from mounting twin 120mm fan mounts on the top of the network cabinet!.

Quite a few of my other aquarium specific fans were too loud for my Axolotl tank so I bought these fans. blow the hot air out of my tank and keep it cool! My tank temperature was actually lowered by 10 degrees one day by them. Three other models of these fans were purchased and I selected these as they had the most cooling power and were the easiest to use with a The hum it supposedly makes when it is on low setting made me apprehensive about buying these. Before I purchased them, I read other reviews. It hasn't been an issue for me, and I normally keep it at 20 or more The power is 50%. For me, these fans are not hindering as I need literal silence to be able to fall asleep, but I use them on my tank in my bedroom. Despite being quieter than any of my other aquarium components and MUCH cheaper than a chiller, I'd recommend these to anyone wanting to set up an aquarium/terrarium! Please refer to the following information if you need more detailed information In addition to the long cord connecting the two fans, they can be placed on opposite ends of the tank so that the temperature can be kept constant There is no need to worry about the plug taking up extra space if you are using a crowded power strip.

To facilitate air circulation in the room, these were purchased to fit in an upper frame for a room arch. Two of them were placed on either side of a 7' opening and they worked Sadly they did not come in white, so I had to paint them before hanging them. Basically, the only thing I don't like is the wire connector versus the mounting bracket. As a result, the archways never look squared around them since the wires create a 'lean' against them. The unit has been used for over 100 hours and is still running smoothly. It works on Low mode, which is near silent but does not push enough air, and High mode - which pushes plenty of air. This is the middle setting, so we don't leave it on too high, since it removes the hot air from the wood stove room without being too loud. I would buy from them again.

I got them to cool off a computer under the desk. Small fridge that fits under the counter. There is some noise from these fans, as has been noted by other reviewers. It is actually the triac-based speed controller that is causing the problem. Therefore, when you turn down the speed, you get a hum or buzz coming from the fan as a result of the speed controller chopping the current from the fan. That's a bummer. Despite being loud and distinct, the noise was loud enough to be overheard over the compressor noise. I devised a way to make the fans really quiet as they pumped more air than they needed, even on the lowest setting. As a result, each fan ran at 60V instead of 120V, since two fans were connected in series. By running them in this configuration, they are nearly silent, and are still able to blow enough air to cool the refrigerator significantly.

The component cabinet in the motorhome got very hot and fried the Fan quality is improved and they operate at a quieter speed than anticipated. If you intend to install them far apart, be sure to verify that they can be installed. There was a fixed length power cord between the two fans, which I found a little surprising. I have mine installed very close to each other, so no problem. You will have to be careful when connecting the fans to the power cord since the connectors bend easily, and it is a tight fit for the cord to grip the fans. I found the variable speed switch to be perfect for my application and works well. Hardware was provided so that the fans could be installed in various ways. I got a lot more than I thought I would. The set up appears to hold up for as long as possible from the quality of the setup.
