Questions & Answers
Although not used, the electric fan motor is exposed to the elements, so make sure mist is delivered on the fan's output side to avoid shorting it out.
This unit is well-designed and produces a lot of air, so I'm not sure that's a good idea. It's also completely portable thanks to the wheels.
I'm not sure how many square feet it is, but it fits perfectly in my garage.

**********Update February 2019**********
Tornado contacted me and expressed a desire to make amends. Another fan was delivered to my place of business by them. Although I have yet to receive the fan, their generosity has restored my faith in their company. When the second fan comes in, I'll update this review. br>br>——————Original Review——————br>Fan arrived scratched and dented. When you turned on the unit, the dents were so bad that the fan blade would bind or rub against the inside frame. I contacted the seller the same day and have yet to receive a response, despite the fact that it has now been over a month. The fan has been repaired and is now operational. This fan claims to have a high velocity, but it doesn't produce any more CFMs than a comparable Home Depot 24" fan. br>br>The fan is light and easy to install. It comes with a nice warranty, but it may be worthless if the manufacturer is unavailable. This is a fan that I would not purchase again.
I always set the speed to the slowest. After a few months of intermittent use, the rear motor bearing began to make noise (though not loudly) and became overheated. I'm a 40-year-old engineer with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The temperature of the motor bearings should not be that high (too hot to touch). In addition, as incoming air passes through the fan, the rear motor bearing is constantly cooled. In conclusion, the bearing is poor. In January of this year, I purchased a fan. This spring, I started using it. After the due date has passed.
The fan was significantly larger than I had anticipated, but it was also significantly weaker. br>br>My vornado fans feel much more powerful, despite the fact that they are tiny in comparison. EDIT: br>br> I've now tested it in a warehouse with no air conditioning in 100 degree weather, and I can barely feel itbr>br>Terrible. EDIT 2: br>br> When the fan is running, it now makes a squealing sound. My coworkers are irritated by it, so I'm forced to avoid using it. This fan has been a complete disappointment in every way.
The first one I got was dented and useless. It was necessary to return it. Thankfully, the box was still there (since it had only recently been assembled). br>I replaced it with a duplicate that was undamaged and worked when I plugged it in. So I put it together quicklybr>It could have been perfect if the company had paid a little more attention to detail instead of slapping the serial code and manufacturer's information on there at random, along with the warning label. Right slab smack in the middle of the unit, cockeyed and unsightly. It could have been placed discretely and parallel to the sides of the unit, rather than right on top, and the cosmetics would have been dramatically improved. I was able to peel off the mnft and serial numbers and relocate them to a less visible location, as well as remove other annoyances.
I purchased this fan in May of 2019 and used it approximately two days per week during the summer months. Although I live in Florida, my shop is located in Alabama. Because the weather begins to cool in October, it was not used after that. The switch wasn't working and the cord was loose when I tried to use it earlier this month. I'm fairly handy, so I attempted but failed to repair it. I emailed the distributor but did not receive a response. This fan is not inexpensive, but I bought it because of the positive reviews and the fact that it appeared to meet my needs. I'll update my review if I hear from the distributor about supporting the fan. But, for the time being, I would advise you to stay away. Perhaps I just received a faulty fan, which happens, so the review will be dependent on the distributor's service.
On the 25th of May, 2019, I purchased a piece of artwork. When I first got it, it worked perfectly. I kept it in a heated garage because I didn't use it during the winter. This is the first time I've tried to use it this year, and it just hums. When you strike the blade, it begins to spin freely and slowly while humming.
So far, it appears to be adequate for the price; however, the bottom of the fan was bent up, causing the blades to contact the outside. br>Update: The fans did an excellent job of drying our new home after running nonstop for over a week. The company got in touch with us and took care of the one bent fan.
The fan works well and is relatively quiet. When it came to delivery, it was supposed to be delivered on Monday, but I got a notification on my phone on Friday that it was going to be delivered at 9 a. m. 30 am. It would have been nice if someone had been home to receive it before the package thieves took it. As a result, I had to take a half-day off work to go home and retrieve it.
