The system works very well, covers a large area, and is very quiet when in use. Maybe the people complaining that the vent flap didn't open is the reason it didn't work. Take a look at the photos. Besides that, it's also smaller than I expected, but I'm not bothered by that, since it's not obtrusive. Nevertheless, I wish it had a remote, but apart from that I'm very happy with this device. After a 3-month period, the following update will be made I am still using it and it is working great! It's important to remove the filter every week or so and make sure that it is cleaned. My water fills up overnight when I run it almost 24 hours a day with 50% humidity. Having placed it in the same room as my thermostat, since doing so I have been able to maintain the same temperature on my lower and upper floors. I used to find that the second floor would get pretty warm while the first floor remained fairly cool before I installed the dehumidifier. In fact, I always keep it running at a lower fan speed since I never turn it off. The air that comes out of the vent is slightly heated, so depending on your setup you may want to place it in the coldest part of the house. Please turn the AC off if you will be opening your house windows or doors for an extended period of time, as this may result in dehumidification of your neighborhood and increased energy consumption P.

Having lived in Florida for many years, we sometimes have very humid summers, and even if your thermostat is set at the ideal temperature, you can just feel uncomfortable. It's perfect for my living room that is an open space with the kitchen and dining room (about 1,000 square feet. 1) It reduced humidity quickly and kept it at the level that I set. This is pretty quiet but if you plan to leave it installed permanently, I would definitely recommend an outdoor hose, since it filled up super fast. Over all I definitely recommend it and it's much cheaper than other well-known I've also noticed that my energy bill hasn't changed either, which makes me think it's pretty energy-efficient.

My first purchase of a dehumidifier is all about the quality. It lasted me ten years to get the last one. I am very pleased with this one that I purchased. An underlying gentle hum is very soothing to the ears. The fact that it comes with a drainage hose and that it's fairly lightweight and easy to move is awesome. My recommendation is to try it out. Our home for some reason always tends to gather a lot of moisture, so we put it in the center. My high recommendation for people who need it is because it is simple to use.

It is possible to find better options. When it was first set up, the drain tube was connected to it, and I turned it on after waiting for the suggested 24 hours prescribed to allow the unit to acclimatize after To test how quickly it would fill, I decided to put the collection bucket in the bucket after a few days. I am glad I did this because it turns out it only collects approximately 4 pints per day, which is only 10% of its I estimated that I would need to empty it frequently since it has a small reservoir. An average of 40 pints are produced per day by this unit. Based on the performance I received, I assume they are still using the old humidifier rating. Because I was dissatisfied with the performance, I bought a different (but known) brand from a warehouse club that I thought was rated for 50 pints a day. (New ratings actually indicate 70 pints in the old rating. ) Comparing this unit with the one below, it was a bit larger, $20 less expensive, provided more features, and is Energy Star rated, as it included a 2-year warranty It comes with a year warranty, and from a merchant that has a very liberal return policy, as compared to Amazon's (which is much more restrictive now, and much less liberal than in the past, which makes no sense for such a profitable company. I will shop elsewhere and avoid Prime completely as I don't want any Chinese junk to end up in my home). There is still a problem with the competing unit pulling out only 64 percent of its quoted capacity, but the whole dehumidification industry seems to be operating way over-capacity 32 pints of water a day on average. Performance numbers are inflated to make them look better. In addition to having a $20 cheaper and longer warranty, and to be able to return locally much longer than 30 days, we had many advantages to choosing to keep the larger unit. Because I didn't want to have to deal with Chinese junk for high dollar prices, it made it easy to return the equipment. I hope you will be able to make better decisions in the future regarding your product selection and pricing, Amazon. I won't buy what you have to offer if all you have is junk.

My favorite one out of the ones I've tried is this one. I like that it has more capacity, it is easy to move, and it is The space heater is in my bedroom. I live in a one bedroom apartment and I have noticed reduced humidity in other areas of the apartment (where the unit is). I also like the shape of the tank, and that it is placed at the front of the unit so it is very easy to get to. With other dehumidifiers I had before, it did not matter how long I used it, the humid air in the room was always the same % and the tank was always full, however, with this one I can actually see the humidity drop and I can.
