As others have stated, I was happy with this humidifier at first. However, on just the second tank fill, I noticed water all over my floors. It was time to check for leaks so I removed the tank, filled it with water, and put it in a pan. I did indeed see a steady drip coming from the valve circled in the attached photo. Water is pushed out of the bottom of the storage unit through this valve, which is pushed open by a floating weight in the unit's base As soon as the base fills, it is supposed to close. As a result of the leak, the unit's base overflows and leaks out. I see the valve as a weak link in this unit because it is particularly fragile. The return of the product does not make sense, so I do not recommend it.

You fill it out quietly and it is easy to complete. Bright and easy to view from across the room, the display is very easy to see. I was able to manually enter my target humidity level with ease, as the app is intuitive and easy to use. My favorite feature about this nozzle is that I can adjust the direction in which I direct the mist. In night mode, the bright display is turned off, which I find convenient. There is no beeping at all. That's good to know. I expect it to be easy to clean, but perhaps not as easy as some round units I've used in the past. In both cases, these devices were returned because they beeped while sleeping and did not raise humidity levels as effectively as they should. Oh well, this one doesn't have a round tank like those did. I'm not sure if the humidistat is very accurate, based on my hygrometer, but that's something to be expected as well. In other words, it depends on how close the two readings are and how consistent the data is. I have a 5-foot unit that so far appears to be ok A hygrometer reading in the same room says it's 10% less humid than what my hygrometer shows. As of right now, the base is reading 40%, and the hygrometer is about six feet away reading Considering that the manual says that auto mode will shut off after the base reaches 50%, this could cause issues. In that case, it could be problematic if there is a disparity of 10% or more, causing the base to shut off before the space reaches the 40% minimum. It is important to note that I will need to try it out for a few days before I can form an In addition, I'm in the living room today, which will have a different effect on me than my bedroom, which is smaller and close to the other rooms. The bedroom will collect humidity more efficiently than the living room. If I need to run the unit manually in the living room during the day to get it down to 40°F, that's fine, as long as I can count on the automatic mode in the bedroom to maintain the same temperature and humidity level in the bedroom at night. I find this one to be my favorite by far. This device connects via WiFi, which I find very convenient. It will be interesting to see how it works after I return from my vacation. The first thing I want to do is turn it on if I can still connect to it. Would have been great if water levels could be detected as well on the app. This app is very easy to use, and it is also very easy to set up. It is also top-filled, which is an added bonus. Another one I have is bottom-filing and has to be filled with water all the time. It's so easy to fill up the Levoit humidifier and isn't as messy as other humidifiers. The thing I like best is that it's very quiet when compared to the one I had before. On top, it has a nozzle that can be moved, so you can direct the mist in any direction that This device is pretty amazing because it has an auto feature and can be set to whatever humidity you prefer. While this is a very random review, I do appreciate the effort you put into it. The Levoit humidifier has exceeded my expectations in every way. I purchased my other humidifier from a very well known brand name in the U. S. , and you would think it would be better, but it just doesn't match its capabilities.

There is no doubt that this humidifier is one of the best I have used. There are also cheap) humidifiers available on Amazon, ranging from Vicks to Taotronics, and other brands I have never heard of, but they had good reviews. Now that I've found this humidifier, I no longer have to search for anything else. To buy a unit that has a good mist output, fills from the top of the tank, and is easy to use and maintain, I need to consider sound levels, mist output, and ease of cleaning. The quality of this Levoit is superior to all others. In the past, I've had humidifiers from different brands that each produced some kind of sound. My previous two attempts with top fill types left me with a constant sound of dripping water, like a faucet dripping rapidly Water condenses on the top of the mist tube and drips back down into the base reservoir, thus causing this phenomenon. It is a top fill tank, so you don't have to unscrew the cap and turn it upside down to fill it. And it has a 3- layer mist tube to prevent water drops from falling straight into the water, which causes the sound. A loud "gurgling" sound is usually produced every 30 minutes to an hour by these types. The unit does not make those GULP GULP GULP noises that can wake you up in the morning. There is a very large opening on top of the tank, so you can access it easily to clean it since it is top filled. The lid you unscrew to fill a bottom-filled tank offers the only opening that allows you to wash your hands. This makes cleaning a bottom-filled tank more difficult. In addition to this, this tank has another clever addition to it at the top of it. The corners of this container have slits in them so that when you turn it upside down to empty the old water, it can drain any water trapped in the corners. I find it most impressive that it is literally completely silent (including water noises) and that it has a top fill tank that is easy to clean. I would like to only mention one thing now to make your life easier At the very least, you should download the app so that the auto-humidity settings are set to a higher level. The unit enters "auto" mode when turned off by pressing the sleep button at night. This means, to keep the unit running while sleeping, pressing the sleep button turns off the LED display, but keeps the unit running. This unit has a problem in that it shuts down automatically if it detects humidity levels above 40%. For me, 40% humidity is too low, so I had to use the app and set the automatic goal to a 60% climate. It will then be less likely to constantly shut down on sleep mode during the night. The app is the only way to do this. Although I am not going to mark this as deficient, it's not enough to warrant a negative review. This is the best humidifier for under $100 that uses ultrasonic sound and cool mist.

I will be returning it. It has never been a problem with Levoit in the past, but this time I had a lot of problems with it. Luckily, it's a smart humidifier that can be controlled using smart assistants so you can turn it on and off whenever you like.
