Frigidaire, White 35-Pint Dehumidifier with Effortless Humidity Control

Unlike most apartments, ours is not too damp, but it is humid. There is always plenty of moisture within the apartment. It is 60 percent humid. Dehumidifiers are supposed to decrease humidity. I don't know what stretch, warmth, and thickness have to do with that. Our old reliable Frigidaire dehumidifier stopped working and so we bought this one as a replacement. With the new one, you can transport 35 pints of water a day (more than four gallons) and it works perfectly. Although there is a lot of plastic in this unit, it doesn't seem to be poorly designed or constructed. Since I've had Frigidaire dehumidifiers for the past 5 or so years, I've gotten a new one every year. The version I own now is a redesign, so I am hoping that the refrigerant will last, as I have used every single other Frigidaire dehumidifier I have owned within its warranty period. It is exceptional that the manufacturer offers a warranty. The company will mail a new one to you if you submit a warranty replacement claim, so that's nice to know that they at least stand behind their product. The dehumidifier worked on a sunroom in which we have a split air conditioner, but the humidity was still high. Since we use the room year-round, rust was occurring on the unit and mold was growing on the walls. The problem hasn't been fixed yet since we don't have time to test it. If you live in the south, you may experience extremely humid weather in the summer. Honestly, I don't think I need one quite this large, but I would rather do it well than poorly. As for the price, it was a bit higher than I had hoped to spend, but Frigidaire is a household name, so I trusted them and am glad Now that I have used it for 5 hours, I am amazed with how good it works.
