About 4 1/2 inches will protrude from the frame when the AC is installed in the window. Thank you for your help! I want to thank TCL Customer Support for their assistance.
A thermostat is built into the unit and it automatically turns on and off the compressor. Unless you activate ECO mode, the fan will always run in such a mode. Thank you for your help! I want to thank TCL Customer Support for their assistance.
It is a noise caused by a window unit
I just bought one made in January 2021, and its display is different from the picture.

I will be gone for one I guess so. There are still no clack noises when you turn on the AC, but now there are annoying tinny noises. The door shuts. My name is Low, and I'm The door shuts. What matters isn't relevant. The door shuts. Another brand that I have is QUIET, almost identical to the one I have. Along with the clacking, there is a bunch of other noise that the machine makes. Pay what you want, and you will get what you want. There is no return policy for this product.
My 18 1/2-inch window was too big for the one I was looking for. I appreciate how well this fits, how quiet it is, and how efficient it is. You can even operate it via a remote. The temperature stays at 68 degrees after I have it set on energy save with the fan on automatic. am in love with it. It is just what I was looking for.
It took about three days for me to receive this email I have nothing but good things to say about it since it happened four days ago. Although it gets humid and hot outside, my room always stays cool, even when it gets hot outside. I've noticed that sometimes when I turn it off, it immediately gets hot, but that's more related to the outside weather. As a first time installer, it was fairly straightforward, instructions were clear, the window was much larger than a window that was made for an air conditioner, and it fitted nicely with some wood next to According to my current opinion, this product is highly recommended 4) it is a very good value for money! Note
Edit In a couple of months, it will have been a year since we started Despite how old it is, it still works fine. Haha, let's see how this one holds up against another Florida summer.
The little air conditioner is more powerful than my free standing air conditioner, which only delivers 10,000 btus. There is carpet in the 10*12 room and a cathedral ceiling that is not isolated from the rest of the room. I used this unit for my sliding window and it fit perfectly. Very happy with what I ordered and how quickly it arrived.
You've got a good point. I have found this to be extremely quiet, to have many nice features on it, and to come with a remote which is quite useful. Although it has electronic controls, although I use it on a timer, it remembers its settings and when the power is restored (by the timer) it comes back on. It is possible to control the temperature very well. This unit is my main source of cooling for a 9 x 12 bedroom, and it has no problem keeping it that cold. The fan on this air conditioner runs continuously even when the compressor isn't running, as opposed to other air conditioners that turn the fan off when the compressor isn't running.
Only thing I am unclear about is how long it will last, as I have only had it for a couple of There is no doubt that it is It was my first time buying a service plan, which I do not normally My comment was that it was $45 for 4 years and it seemed like an excellent deal when I read the reviews that describe issues getting service and with the unit. There were problems with the output vents. The unit was blowing cold air directly on me in bed, and they weren't adjustable much. Using a diverter, I built a simple machine The problem has been Two, the installation instructions were quite terrible, and I could not install it reliably, partly because I had a brass weatherstripping attached to the window that got in the way. As long as the sash is down when you install it, you need to install it with a slight downward slope, but you can't measure this slope with the sash up. There is also no way for me to fasten the bottom of the unit with the provided In addition, the manual shows two pieces of weatherstripping for the windows, but I only got one (plus the strange sticky foam that is not shown in the parts list), and there is nothing about how and where to apply it.
It is of terrible quality, I tried to return it the next day and they insisted on making me pay over 80 I laugh at your jokes. The company sells cheaply made products and charges half of the price of the unit just to return it. I'm not happy with your business! My fault for providing such a poor service. I learned my lesson. I don't want you to be fooled!.
The only question is whether it is true. I'm hoping this will be my final editing
It has been more than six months since I purchased my TCL unit, and the one I still have (the other was probably damaged by Amazon shippers' handling) continues to work flawlessly. There are definitely no quiet features, but it is able to keep a 600 sq ft area Based on my evaluation, I am raising the stars to 4 due to my opinion that the other unit's issue was likely not so much its defect as it was the mishandling it may have endured during shipping by Amazon.
Josh, I think it's better than the brand-name refrigerator I bought at the big box store.

EDIT Well, I guess. We didn't have too long to wait for that. With two weeks on the unit, the fan suddenly ceased to spin altogether. There is no fan moving to move air past the coils in the condenser, so you can see that the unit is still trying to run the condenser. It would help if I understood the engineering well enough, haha. Whatever way you want to look at it. The product is clearly defective. It was absolutely awful this time round to deal with Amazon customer service, although they are usually helpful. My first day was difficult, I dealt with four people and, in the end, was told a 'specialist' would have to call me within 24 hours to get a replacement. Having waited 24 hours and still hearing nothing, I called back and spoke to 2 more reps before being told that no replacements can be issued for this device and how they can possibly put me through all of this when I should just be refunded and have the item returned. Yea, I went through the refund process and bought a more reliable and quality brand from Brandsmart USA instead. I should note that Amazon delivered the unit upside down (which I believe caused damage to There is no way I can even believe Amazon to deliver a delicate item in good condition, let alone the fact that they didn't even wear masks while delivering it by hand to my 50+ year old landlord. There is zero concern for health, product safety or reliability. The worst exemplary experience I've ever had with a product from Amazon, or any service for that matter. Those are the two most important points. I have not revised the original review. It would have been nice to know. The eco mode can be maintained at any temperature, even in cold weather. Cold, stays cold, maintains the temperature, and keeps it cold. There is one problem with it really, the fins aren't very large so they are not always angled at you so you can move them around much, but it doesn't matter who much because it keeps my 15' by 15' room perfect at temperature, plus I live in Florida. I think so. Note also that I bought two of them There is one window in next to mine, and two in the one adjacent room. They are within a few feet of each other on the outside, and separated by a wall on the inside, With my testing of both remotes, I've never had an issue with them accidentally changing the settings. Overall, I'm very pleased with them.
We are dealing with low power here. A very low score. I have a large bedroom, but my previous air conditioning unit (RIP) had the same stats but cooled the entire The one we chose was less expensive. suppose what you pay for is what you get.
