I have owned a couple of other name brand AC units during the last 11 years. Having this unit cool 1500 square feet of house and another tiny unit in a bedroom off the kitchen is enough to cool the entire house. Despite the cold, I cannot stay inside the house. There is almost 100 degrees outside and I am wearing a jacket. I love how energy efficient the air conditioner is. Because we don't have a suitable outlet, we haven't been able to test out the heater. Although it is a huge disappointment, we can switch it out later if we need to. I can honestly say that this is the best purchase of my life. Retaining this item is difficult due to difficult and expensive return policies, which is a major barrier to sending it back to the seller. In spite of its damage, it seemed functional, so we decided not to throw it out. Purchasing this particular product was a very bad experience for me.

I received it in perfect condition, strapped down to a wooden pallet, and it seems like it will work fine so far. In winter temps, it heats up a whole 1200 square foot shop in less than an hour the AC hasn't been used yet, but I am sure it will do its job just fine!.

It's not really a case because there was no damage to the product during shipping, but mine nonetheless arrived in good shape. There are a few issues aside from its immense weight and the styrofoam packaging that makes it so heavy that I had to slide it out after removing it. A cable was attached to the compressor so that it could remain protected during transportation. The two halves were very tight and it took two grown men 10 minutes of tugging, wiggling, yanking, and swearing to separate them. Everything went smoothly from then on. I would never buy this product again. We waited a month to install it and it did not blow at all. We reached out multiple times to the company and went through Amazon to get a replacement. This company is worthless. Do not purchase anything from them.
