Neither the air nor the heat from outside is very efficient at heating. Its cooling capability has decreased to a point where we have decided not to use it this summer. This product did not meet my expectations.
The heat comes from electric power!
Considering it's size and I believe it has a heating system using electric heat strips, I purchased it. Besides buying this Frigidaire FFRH0822R1 8000 BTU 115 V, I also bought With its heat pump features, the volt Compact Slide-Out Chasis Air Conditioner/Heat Pump is suitable for use in small spaces.

I have now written two of them. I ran the first one continuously in the temperature controlled warehouse for four years. I gave my son the phone still working great when I took it out of the box. I have now installed the new one and it is working as intended. In 4 to 5 years I would like to replace it only because I will be getting older. It is imperative that this A/C unit is running at full capacity with absolutely no downtime. I trust it completely and hope I will be able to find another one exactly like it down the road.
In order to extend the electrical cord to the AC, I had an electrical engineer install it. An air conditioner was then installed in the window by a handyman I hired. The air conditioner makes a great deal of noise and does not seem to be cooling properly. As for who is to blame, I am not quite sure if it is the product or the electrical engineer who did not put it back together correctly. The LG products I have used are generally quite good, so I do not want to fault them. As of now, I'm stuck with an AC that makes a considerable amount of noise and seems to be doing its job poorly. If AC offered longer electrical cords on their ACs, I'd be very happy.
The item was ordered on Amazon, and it was installed by a Definitely does the trick for heating and cooling a small 8 by 9 "mini garage and art room. " and a reasonable sound level is acceptable.
The installation of this product was straightforward and simple It's good to see it. Climates with very high humidity benefit from a drain feature in the condensation pan. At the same time, three directions of air can flow through the louvers. I operate the fan on a low speed and avoid the "E/Saver" mode so that energy consumption is at its best. Because the air in the room cannot stratify, this is thought to be the most efficient method. It is also incredibly quiet when the fan speed is set to a low level.
There is a terrible heat. It has been a blessing to be in the air in these 100 degree temperatures. It will be interesting to see how the heat from it produces. Now that cold nights are coming, it's time to warm up. The room was not even close to being "hot" after putting on the heating! It's more like lukewarm than anything else. It's a very disappointing experience.
It works very well as a craft room since we converted our garage. The screen is 400 square feet and it does the job well.
To be honest, I would say the heating function is a bit tough. Now that I have owned this unit for two months, I can really speak from experience. As of now, everything is going well. My only complaint would be that the heating function is not quite as powerful as I'd like. I was able to install it without much difficulty.
Now that I have been using the unit for a few months, I want to give you a few recommendations. There are a couple of problems with the unit, things that appear to stem more from design flaws than production problems. The filter cover is located on the filter unit.
The filter cover is installed correctly, has been leveled properly, and there is nothing to obscure it. However, the filter cover simply will not snap into place, it's flimsy and the clips don't snap into place to hold the cover open. Tape was used for the solution, which was not really a good solution for an expensive device like this one. There is water.
As with any AC unit, this unit accumulates water, but it lacks a hole for this water to eject out from the back bottom. With 0 installed, the unit is ready for use. If you lower the temperature by 5 degrees as stated in the instructions, the water will still accumulate and at some point, the fan will pull You can drill a hole into a spot on the back of the chair.
Hot water heater. There are coils in the heater, 1340Watts of them, and they are barely sufficient enough for warm nights of 60F at night in California, though they reached 64F after only I have no use for this. A coil that does not work on 1/4 of its spool is certainly not acceptable.
