The answer is yes
It had no rattles when I used my 2021 10K BTU. Nevertheless, the only sound I hear is the smooth whooshing of a fan that makes me PLEASANT. It is difficult to hear the compressor cycle when it runs. We are very pleased with your service!
As far as I can tell, the specifications read There are sleeves on each side that adjust to ensure a tight seal between the machine and the window. The unit is only about 18" wide, but there is an adjustment on each side that ensures a tight fit. This extra space is required so they can be accommodated.
Certainly, you can use any material to seal the gaps, but you have to make sure that it is airtight so that the unit cools the room as efficiently as possible.

I was hesitant to order due to the sound complaints, but once it was installed, it was great. Is incredibly efficient at cooling. My heart is full of joy! It's hard for me to understand your complaints.
You will begin to see penguins in your room if you leave this thing on too long. The trouble I have is that I turn it on and off several times in short intervals. My home is in the southeast of the US, where winters are few and far between In addition to being fairly quiet (for something that is an AC unit), this AC makes that bearable. You might wake up wondering if it's snowing outside if you leave this on at night. Be sure not to set it too low.
It is not too heavy and A few pros I like the fact that the sides screw into the body of the unit, it has a remote control, it is inexpensive, easy to install and my room cools and dries The cons are There is a noticeable buzz from the mechanism no matter what mode it is There is only one adjustable vent available and it can be adjusted left and right, but The only con is that it is minor. So far, this unit has been very good to me. It is the beginning of a humid, hot summer along the coast of Connecticut. Once a month of regular use has passed, I will provide a follow up review.
The alarm has gone off! Oh, I see! What a shocker. Not a single second has passed since I went to sleep. It is so horrible to use this machine. What it sounds like is. . It isn't even a word I can describe. Do you see rocks rolling on the floor? Are there rocks in the sea? I don't know why, but I would not get the I'll tell you something don't waste your time and buy something more expensive instead.
A pause, nbsp There was a message telling me that I should install it after testing. The decision was a good one for me. My old LG TV performs as well as this one. This is junk. The video can be viewed here.
In the end, I had to get two of these after my two older units failed. My old ones had just one setting from low to high and one from 1 to 5 The fans were rated 10 so they ran constantly and are not temperature-sensitive.
I really like these because 1) I can set an alarm to come on at noon if it's going to be a mild morning but hot in the afternoon at work. B) I can set them to "energy efficient" mode, in which they turn off once they reach a certain temperature and come back on every 3 minutes to see if more cooling is needed. In the c) section, you have an indication when the filter needs replacing. My old ones were always incomplete because I forgot to do that. In addition to a remote control, they have a screen mounted on the wall which looks handy, although I never used It is an 840 sq ft townhouse where I have my two units upstairs. In spite of temperatures of 100 degrees, they did a good job cooling the house. Whenever I was using the oven, only for a short time could they reach all the way into the kitchen.
There was no change to the specifications of the product. It was crucial for me to know this information because of the window in my apartment. No damage was observed in the unit during shipment or delivery. The window AC system was installed as per standard procedure. There was no need to buy any additional hardware. 15 minutes were required for side fillers to be attached, insulating foam strips to be trimmed, and power up to be completed. Only a screwdriver and a pair of scissors were needed for our project. My surprise at the low power consumption of the unit was evident the moment I turned it on. When the compressor was engaged, the fan on high speed, and the load was full, I measured 3, and the draw was significantly less. Compared to 5, 3 is better. I think 7 amps would be enough. Please take note Neither the unit nor the thermostat were on energy saver. Thank you. I am very pleased with I have never heard any more noise from this unit than from any others I have installed or heard. It is the quietest air conditioner in my apartment, and YES, this is the air conditioner in my bedroom. Although I was hesitant about the 6,000 BTU capacity, the unit cooled the room faster, and it was even quieter than the portable 12000 BTU unit.
The controller is very easy to use, and the different modes and remote control make it extremely pleasant to use. My only dislike is that it came with a crack in the front that I just noticed, and I don't like that it makes a noise. There is absolutely no way I would say this AC unit is quiet. There's definitely a lot of noise coming from it, and it However, I know that it would bother some people, but I do not mind that kind of thing myself. I am disappointed with the noise levels for the price of the unit, but other than that it's a great product.
