But, I decided to buy this digital one since I found the app a lot of fun to use. The pros include ) Cools well and looks good. 3) Is mostly silent on low setting. 4) Filter is easy to remove and clean. )Cons 1) There does not appear to be a way to switch between fresh and recycled In the manual, there is mention of a switch but no explanation of its location. When I contacted customer service, they were unable to point me to the database!
2) No matter what setting you use, the device never finishes working. We wouldn't mind it so bad if the fan kept blowing but it ceases to do so after a few seconds. As a result, it is annoying if you are sleeping or listening to something and have to adjust the volume. Additionaly, the air in the room is stuffy and still. This is in part due to the fact that the thermostat in the machine is not as effective as it could be. In the remote there's a "follow" option, where it uses the remote to regulate the temperature, but sometimes it seems to forget this setting and revert back to the previous one. But even then, it sometimes shuts down. However, this app does not have a follow option, which means it is not as good for control. I have finally come up with a solution to this problem. When I open the app to connect to AC, it automatically opens the AC app. Next, I use the follow feature of the remote to monitor the game By changing the setting, this results in a change in the setting Most of the time, the autopilot is on. Then I use the app to lower the temperature to 62 or something stupid like that. When I change it to "cool" and the fan to "low", it stays on cool. It gets a little cold sometimes, so I turn it off, but I am glad that it stays on. So here's what I recommend. I am a big fan of this unit if you live in a big house or you need this for a room that you are not always in. I know it will be frustrating to deal with if you live in a small apartment like me. If it's on all the time and gets hot, or if it's off and on a lot, it'll be either hot or cold.

It's a looooong and frustrating story, but this company and their customer service stand behind their product. A unit installed with the client would start and stop occasionally, sputter, then throw an error code and cease to function. In response to my call, the company gave me a new one entirely as part of my warranty. The second unit also acted in the same way! My request for a refund was understood and I was apologized immediately without questions. However, I am not above admitting when I am wrong and it turns out that the home outlet in my Dad's house was producing quite a bit more power than it should have (240V vs 115V). To prevent damage to the home or unit, their units are equipped with a built-in safety system. As soon as I plugged the unit into an ordinary outlet, I was overcome with a sweet sense of In an effort to get a refund, I called the office and cancelled it. It is pretty much the best air conditioner I've ever owned. Instead of using the remote control, I prefer using the app. In my experience, it is useful, and can heat a room that's more than 8000 BTUs suggests. I haven't had it long enough to evaluate its energy efficiency, but I hope it does a good job since it gets warm so fast. If you would like to gauge the temperature, please use the remote or the app, instead of the area where the unit is located. Making more sense just makes It is not unbearably loud, but it is not as quiet as it could be. As for the noise level, you can hear it a lot quieter than I can recall 20 years ago.

A very good portable ac unit. I have installed it in a 250 square foot room where it can get hot at 108 degrees an within 5 minutes it changes into a cold room an the ac unit was barely working. I'll report back over the summer how it works. Fortunately, I was able to install an AC unit at the beginning of the summer and it worked perfectly, I even purchased another, this is a quality unit that gets the job done. The unit makes a great air conditioner and I would recommend it to anyone who needs one.

This is a favorite of ours. I could not believe how fast it came. Installation was extremely easy, and the heater cooled the room I didn't give it a 5 due to the fact that both side panels were damaged. Hopefully, I will be able to get replacements as soon as possible.
