The results are ok, but nothing spectacular

We have a unit that works faster than our last one but is 10 per cent more efficient than it was. There is a possibility of improving the 9 SEER. There is a lot of difficulty and time involved in mounting the side panels The metal tabs that they have to move through are curved, so they helped in mounting, but the seal was not as good as it could have been. It is not helpful to give instructions. I use it in a room where I play the piano, but the unit is kind of noisy, and the remote controls are pretty basic. I like the panel controls because they're easier to understand. The durability of the product is a big question. On that one, the jury is still out. What are the benefits of other window units? I find it difficult to judge.

This air conditioner cools over 500 square feet and has 8000 BTUs. The outside temperature is 90 degrees and the inside temperature is 75 degrees. The airflow is excellent.
