25 foot lines are included in this kit. 16 foot lines are included in the kit. br>In my case, I carefully rolled the "extra" length behind the outdoor unit, just as it had been when it arrived. I didn't have to make any cuts or hire an ac installer because of this. br>Warning: The following information is for informational purposes only. If the lines are cut, an AC technician will be required to service the unit and re-supply coolant. The lines have been pre-charged with the required refrigerant charge.
Because the lines have been pre-charged with refrigerant, this should not be an issue.

This was purchased for an apartment on the second floor. I needed a 25-foot pre-charged line set for a DIY project. This was a great solution. All of the lines had to be run out of the unit's left side. The 2 3/4 inch hole is laid out on the right side of the cardboard template; I couldn't do that because I'd have to drill through a window header. I sent an email to the company, requesting permission to work on the left side. I didn't receive any kind of response. So I looked at the back of the air handler and noticed that the plastic cover on the left side was notched to allow the lines to exit. As a result, I ran all of the lines out the left side of the room and bent them to go through the wall. The only issue is that the unit does not conceal them. Running everything outside on a 20-foot ladder proved to be a bit of a challenge. higher than the ground When you're standing on a ladder, you'll definitely need a second person to help you run the lines. All of the lines were taped together and placed in a line set cover kit. I ordered one more section because the cover kit was a little short. Because my unit is 120 VAC, I connected it to the house panel and a disconnect outside; the only issue with mounting the condenser unit is that the wall bracket comes with holes already drilled in it. They align with the unit's feet, but only one set can be used to bring the unit's back close to the house. I plan to move the unit to the farthest set of holes and drill a new set for the back ones. Because it is now winter, I can only comment on the heating system. Both the indoor and outdoor units operate quietly. All of the rooms in the apartment are heated by electric baseboards. Running it can be quite costly. My tenant has been running the unit at 64 degrees with the baseboard heaters turned off, and it has heated the apartment perfectly. It should save a lot of money with just this unit running (12000 BTU). We haven't tried many of the remote's features, such as follow me and timer, but we'll do so later. It also has WIFI connectivity via a downloadable app, which we haven't tried yet. Overall, I was blown away. The cooling feature will have to wait until summer to be tested. Bonus: It's possible that you'll be eligible for a federal tax credit. I'll get around $370 if I qualify. 00! A good-sized kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom are included in the apartment. The kitchen and living room are currently being heated.
This unit, including the PVC tube cover and electrical, took about 12 hours to install in my RV. I was nervous the entire time, unsure if this DIY would work. Freon leakage is always a problem with mini splits. I was blown away by the double O-. Seals made of rings. The Nyla lock tread sealer is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. In any case, I did so. If you have a leek, you'll need to hire a professional to cut off the O-shaped end. ring seals installed on compression fittings (included in installation kit), evacuating and recharging the system I'm relieved to report that I was not required to do so. It is truly a do-it-yourself system that runs smoothly right out of the box. This was accomplished over the course of two days of operation in 100-degree weather. I'll post an update if I have a slow leak that takes days to appear. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way.
I purchased one 24k btu DIY style unit but quickly realized that I needed two. As requested, the driver arrived on time and used a lift gate and pallet jack to deliver to my garage door. When I first opened the package, everything was in perfect working order. I double-checked that the measurements corresponded to the information found on the internet. Preparation for two outdoor units, one over/under on a brick wall, has begun. A 9/16" hole is required for masonry anchors. Because a 5/8 bit was too loose for the job, I used a 1/2 bit and seriously wallowed out the holes; it worked great and was very sturdy. The 25' line length was used to mount on an interior wall, and the drain line was directed to a utility sink. I didn't use the entire line, just enough. The quick connectors worked flawlessly, and both units were in good working order after two weeks of use.
This was purchased for use on a shipping container to keep it cool and prevent mold from growing on the items stored inside. Installation was simple, and the instructions were well written and simple to follow. I haven't had the opportunity to comment on efficiency or customer service because I haven't had the need to contact them. I only have two complaints. br>1) I wish they had a shorter DIY hose kit available. It's about a third of the way down. br>2) When I attempted to register the warranty online, the serial numbers were found to be invalid. As a result, I'll have to contact them today in order to register the warranty.
This air conditioning unit is fantastic. The installation of a window air conditioner is no longer a challenge for senior citizens. Cooling for the downstairs of our Cape Cod home that is quiet and efficient. I used to be annoyed by the sound of the window air conditioner. It was put in by us.
I was able to install this in one weekend almost entirely by myself, with the exception of lifting the 100 pound condensing unit into place, which required a helping hand. br>Easy to install without a vacuum and instructions are very clear. br>I've uploaded videos of the unpacking and installation to my YouTube channel. Easy to set up, nice and quiet, and it performs admirably. Installation did not require the use of vacuum lines. The unit on the outside is also very quiet.
It was the best decision I could have made. I wish I had purchased it sooner.
