He provided us with a repair ID number and stated that Daikin would contact us. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD! br>On our own, we were able to solve the problem. br>In addition, a protective film was applied to the AC front cover. When the film was peeled away, adhesive stains were left behind, which were impossible to remove. br>Daikin is the last company we'll ever deal with.

I live in Portland, Oregon, and the general rule is that for every 650-pound load, you get 12k (1 ton). 700 sq. feet. I did it myself, and it was a lot simpler than I expected. Torquing the copper pipe connections is the most difficult part. In an attempt to tighten the pipe, I jury-rigged a box end wrench to my torque wrench and nearly kinked it. Rather than buying a line vac, I hired a professional to vacuum the lines for $300. It just seemed like a good idea to have a pair of professional eyes look it over. br>The rest is simple; all you need is a little courage, a little YouTube watching, and a willingness to jump in. br>Both inside and out, it is very quiet. br>Here are some of the snares I ran into:
- If you're going to use a decorative line cover outside the house, make sure you put it on before you attach the copper lines because a couple of pieces of it need to slip over the lines' ends. br>- Wrap the lines starting at the bottom and working your way up. I disobeyed the instruction and later realized why they had given it to me in that manner. If you start at the top, the top edge of the wrapping will be on the outside of the wrap all the way down, allowing water to enter (if there isn't another covering).

It's been a few weeks since it was installed, and it's still cooling like it should. I didn't have any issues that I wasn't expecting. Heating has also been tested and found to be effective. I did it myself because I had the necessary tools, knowledge, and a sixpack of the best European beer. To summarize, it works, I'm satisfied, and if the status changes, I'll inform you here.

The seller did everything correctly; I requested a few things, and they responded quickly; get it done! The product, not the seller, is why my title says "So far great. " I have a lot of mini-computers. splits between various brands I've discovered that just because something is more expensive does not mean it will last longer! It's a pity. I purchased two Daikin air conditioners in the hopes that they will perform as advertised: When they're at work, they're called mini- Rock divides.

This item was purchased for use in my garage/workshop. I installed it myself and then hired a professional to inspect it and check the system charge. Everything went smoothly, and the machine is in excellent working order. I needed extra length (a 50-foot line set), and the seller accommodated me without hesitation and in a timely manner. My HVAC technician recommended this Daikin and said he has several units in his shop, so I went with it. For the average homeowner, I would recommend hiring a professional to install this unit. It's not difficult to put together if you're a little handy. However, there is a lack of detail in the instructions.

It's best to hire a professional HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) installer. Our home had been built before the war. The unit was plumbed with electricity and copper tube in only 4 hours, and it has performed flawlessly so far. I'll hold off on writing a full review until next summer.
