This thing is fantastic right now. The valves were opened, pressures and amperage were checked, and the tests began after the installation and a two-hour vacuum. Let's start with the basics. This device is VERY QUIET! You won't be able to hear the outdoor compressor/condensor if you stand right next to it. In the indoor unit, the volume is also more than adequate. When the test began, the temperature was 65 degrees Fahrenheit outside. In heat mode, it raised the temperature of my stand-alone 650 sqft addition from 65° to 75° in 20 minutes, despite heat loss through floor to ceiling screens and roll-up steel shutters on one full wall. After that, I set it to cool. In 15 minutes, it lowered the temperature from 75°F to 70°F. Because these tests were conducted on a day with unusually mild outdoor temperatures, it is currently unknown how it will react in extreme highs and lows. I'll update this post if anything goes wrong in the future, but for the time being, I'm impressed. br>br>As an aside, don't forget the Nylog blue for a good flare joint seal.

It was a breeze to set up the system. I'm fortunate in that I've worked with HVAC systems and know how to charge them. The instructions that come with the package are completely useless. Go to YouTube and search for something interesting. If you require installation assistance, please visit com. I had to install the system almost entirely without the help of the manufacturer's instructions. There are no wire diagrams included; instead, there are only basic block diagrams with little detail. This system runs quietly and quickly cools my shop. The only issue I'm having is that the "air swing left and right" feature isn't working. This is something I'll have to do on my own. To complete the installation properly, you'll need an HVAC manifold set. Don't just connect everything and turn on the freon, as many YouTube videos suggest.

This unit I installed is just as good for half the price. br>It runs quietly and draws just under 3 amps in full heat mode on a 32-degree day. br>With the right tools, it's a simple installation. Don't expect a Mr. Cool unit with precharged lines with this unit because it will require special tools. br>I strongly advise anyone who knows how to install it or who is having it installed by a professional to do so. br>Five out of five stars!.

The only issue is that the front cover has a broken piton on the right side, which I had to duct tape to keep it in place.

Don't be fooled by the SEER rating; this unit has a higher EER than units with higher SEER ratings. Everything went smoothly during the installation. The fan geometry and noise levels are both attractive to me. The remote is simple to use and understand. It quickly and effectively cools. All of the coils are gold-plated to prevent corrosion. Mounted on a 15A 220V circuit, the unit is extremely quiet. The indoor unit takes a wifi module, which I did not purchase but may do so in the future. Overall, it's a great unit for the money, and the vendor, minisplits4less, did an excellent job shipping it out via freight. It took only a week for it to arrive.
